Both of the hairstylists working on Saturday were incredibly warm and friendly. I told Melanie what I was looking for and she did an incredible job. I have long hair and hairstylists tend to cut off too much, but not Melanie. I had the best experience and have the best haircut and color that I have had in YEARS! This was one of the most disrespectful and unprofessional experiences I have ever had at a nail salon. I came in for a simple overlay with no polish and was quoted 40 dollars. Then it suddenly jumped to 50. When I mentioned I didn't like how one part looked and asked for a small adjustment, they said it would now be 75. I chose not to move forward and offered to pay for what had been done and leave. They locked the doors and refused to let me leave. I calmly asked, If I pay instead of soaking it off, how much is it? They told me I could not leave unless I soaked my nails off. This happened before the police even arrived. They were fully trying to force me to sit there and waste more of my time after disrespecting me. Once the police got there and I asked the same question again -- then they switched up and said I could just pay 30 dollars. But by that time, the damage was already done. The stress. The embarrassment. The humiliation. Let me be clear -- they called the police on me and threatened to sue me, even though I offered to pay. They made a huge scene and tried to make it seem like I didn't have the money. Another woman ended up giving me the 30 dollars just so I could leave. And yes, the man looked visibly upset that someone helped me because they wanted control -- not resolution. This was never about the money. It was about how they treated me. Talking to me like I was beneath them. Insisting on controlling the outcome even though I was calm and respectful at first. The security guard even said I did not have to pay -- and they still caused a scene. Attached is a photo of the nails they refused to let me leave with. [Insert photo here] To the salon -- This was not customer service. This was emotional manipulation and intimidation. To everyone else -- Please do not give your money to businesses that do not respect you. Speak up. Say something. And never let anyone try to control you over services they barely provided. This was disgusting and deeply unprofessional. Never again.

After coming back for a fill after an amazing job on my original full set (see photos) the worst…read morehappened. The man-Q-who was originally there was not in the shop on that day, but there was a lady there who was more than willing to do my nails. I went into the shop for a fill on the ombré set I had previously done by Q. I posted the original photo. I didn't want to change anything I simply wanted a fill. She picked out the powder and began to fill my nails. I noticed that she was doing the ENTIRE nail with the Purple powder that was used for the TIP of the nail. I stopped her and made sure she knew that I was filling an ombré set and she assured me that that was in fact what was being done. I thought she had a different technique of doing it. When she finished filling my nails with the purple and was about to put finishing polish on I was more than confused. I once again asked....what about the ombré? The base of the nail is supposed to be beige. At that point she started getting IRATE & demeaning towards me. I'm rather a quiet, calm person and I do not like to argue or even have misunderstandings so this was scary to me. Someone standing up, yelling, cursing, pointing their finger at me as though I was a piece of trash. I did not make the mistake..she did. I was shocked nevertheless. I wish she would have just let me know that she did not know how to do ombré nails. She threw the beige acrylic on the base of my nails. No shaping, no blending..no anything and then proceeded to sloppily put the finishing polish on again. My nails were so thick, bulky, and horrible. I asked if she could please file down the new acrylic she added. She looked at me with a disgusting smirk on her face..proceeded to drill over all my nails ruined my $80 nails and yelled at me to leave the shop. I have NEVER been treated like this in my life. I was NOT deserving of this treatment. She was more than 100% wrong. I wish I would have recorded this. Please Please Please stay away from this hateful lady and this nail shop. I thought this was the nail shop for me but I was wrong. If she was not able to do ombré she should have told me and I would have left and waited until Q was in. I feel so disrespected and hurt. I will keep my positive energy though and find a positive nail home here in Meridian. Thank you for your time
