Good doctors, been happy overall with Dr. Deitel. Did a good job on my surgery, but it can be…read moredifficult to get a hold of someone in his office in a short time frame as he works out of multiple offices throughout the week. I fault the understaffed and overworked medical infrastructure of this country. Additionally, 1 star for front office staff. They are rude, and act as though their actions are above reproach. Try smiling or even using the common niceties such as "please" and "thank you". You work in a professional setting, the least you can do is act like a sincere professional. Nearly everyone that comes in here is in pain, have some compassion and try to be aware of how you speak to people and how it could be interpreted.

I waited over an hour and a half to see the doctor, and when I was finally seen, my appointment took place in a casting room rather than what I would consider a normal exam room. After waiting that long, I expected a thorough appointment and some meaningful direction regarding my ongoing workers' compensation injury. Instead, I felt completely dismissed. Dr. Deitel repeatedly asked me what I wanted to do, even after I explained that I am not the medical professional and that I was there because I wanted help getting better. I was looking to my physician to evaluate my condition, explain my options, and guide my treatment. I left feeling like there was very little interest in actually helping me or addressing my ongoing symptoms. The interaction felt unprofessional and dismissive, and I walked out without confidence that my injury was being appropriately managed. Dealing with an injury and the workers' compensation system is difficult enough. Waiting more than 90 minutes only to leave an appointment feeling like I was expected to figure out my own medical treatment was incredibly frustrating. After this experience, I have requested an immediate transfer of my care to another provider and will not be returning to Dr. Deitel.

I have worked only with Dr. Bloom's associate, Dr. Nguyen. I am extremely grateful to him as he has stepped up to the plate to correct, as best possible per the CDC, the lack of care I had previously and that left me for dead. Dr. Nguyen has been present at my appointments and re-opened the door to some quality of life. Unfortunately, the damage done via my previous pain doc, by ignoring the results of required MRI's and my pleas for help, Dr. Nguyen was dealt a heavy hand. Because earlier detection was ignored, there is only so much he can do. But he is doing it nonetheless. Pain patients will be assisted greatly by Dr. Nguyen as well as an upcoming hand book entitled "Pain Dismissed" to be published 2024 iwhich will assist them in how best to navigate potentially treacherous territory amidst the regulations assigned by the CDC, wherein ALL pain is treated the same regardless of their injuries and resultant pain. I hope this review provides for hope for others. There are still a few good doctors out there but be sure that an MD is going to be present at your appointments before you sign on as, otherwise, you can easily land in a life and death situation without proper help aboard.

I usually don't leave negative reviews, but I feel this is something the office should be aware of…read moreand take seriously. I had a telehealth appointment with Jason, and I want to start by saying that he is an amazing NP. He has been very helpful in managing my chronic pain, and I truly appreciate the care he has provided. However, this review is specifically regarding the medical assistant who pre-screened me before my appointment. Unfortunately, my experience with her was very unprofessional. The way she spoke to me felt overly casual, as if she were speaking to a friend or "homie," rather than a patient in a medical setting. What concerned me even more was that while she was giving Jason a report, I was apparently not on mute and could hear the entire conversation. I heard her referring to the provider using terms such as "bro" and "dude," along with profanity and other language that I do not believe is appropriate for a professional medical environment. I understand that everyone has their own personality and way of communicating, but there is a clear difference between being friendly and being unprofessional. I personally do not feel that this type of communication is appropriate for someone representing a medical office or interacting with patients and providers. I strongly believe the office should do more research and provide additional training regarding professionalism and appropriate communication in a medical setting. Based on my experience, I do not feel that this individual is currently a good fit for the position without additional training and supervision. Again, I want to emphasize that my experience with Jason himself has been amazing. My concern is solely with the professionalism and conduct of the medical assistant. I hope the office takes this feedback seriously and uses it as an opportunity to improve the patient experience.
