Not only that, but the tools I gained during our time together can be used for a lifetime. I'm grateful this place and these caring individuals exist! I've tried to see counselors in the past and NEVER had any luck. It was so awkward telling a stranger my issues who would stoically sit there and ask me,"How did that make you feel?" in a lifeless voice. NO THANKS! But this place was a totally new experience. Allison genuinely cared about my well being and my progress. I truly felt supported and comfortable sharing my junk. Highly recommended!!!

Dangerous Medical Practices: In my family's experience, Dr. Lucas Bachmann made significant changes to a prescription regimen without first obtaining necessary medical records or performing a baseline evaluation of the patient. Making major medication adjustments without reviewing patient history or meeting the patient face-to-face is, in my opinion, medically negligent and deeply alarming. 2. Privacy Violations: During my time under Dr. Bachmann's care, I observed unauthorized individuals present during sensitive medical appointments without prior consent or introduction. This showed a complete disregard for patient privacy and standard clinical protocols. 3. Lack of Accountability: This clinic appears to operate without independent oversight. Because it is family-run, there is no neutral escalation path for grievances. When a provider fails you here, there is no one to hold them accountable. Context: I was transferred to Dr. Bachmann only after my previous provider at this location (Dr. Gavin Meany) was removed due to criminal legal proceedings. The decline in the standard of care since that transition has been absolute. Verdict: I strongly caution prospective patients--especially those with complex medical needs--to seek care elsewhere. The practices I witnessed here are unsafe."

Psychology board suspends Randi Erickson relative to complaint involving "Parental Alienation Syndrome" April 17, 2013 On February 6, 2013, the Wisconsin Psychology Examining Board suspended psychologist Randi Erickson indefinitely. According to the Board's document, Erickson was notified on November 1, 2011 that she was the subject of a complaint. The Board requested her response to the complaint and a certified copy of her records of her treatment of "Patient A." She was given three weeks to respond. The Board made three such requests but received neither a substantive response from Erickson nor the requested records. Though the Board's documents don't state outright what the nature of the complaint against her was, it does states that Erickson filed a letter with the Administrative Law Judge in the case, which contained, among other thing "a lengthy article on parental alienation syndrome, with which Dr. Erickson apparently believes Patient A's other, the complainant in this case, is afflicted." Dr. Erickson failed to appear at the scheduled hearing in this case. Randi L. Erickson v. I brought my 8 yr old son to Croix Counseling for ADD/ADHD testing. At our first appointment my…read morehusband and I were told that our son would be tested over a six week period with a one hour visit each week.We were told that a questionnaire would be given to us and to our son's teacher. After all of the information was received we were told that it would take three weeks to put together the report. At our 2nd appointment on 1/10/2012 I was told that we had a balance due of $137.14, which I paid on 1/14/2012.After looking at our insurance my husband noticed that it had also been processed by our insurance company on 1/02/2012 and paid on 1/8/2012. In paper work that we got at our first appointment it stated that we would be scheduled for a one hour time slot, that 10-15 minutes could be used for the therapist to look over the record and that the other 45-50 minutes would be time with the patient. On 1/21, we pulled into the parking lot at 5:00pm and our therapist was leaving. I went in and verified that we had an appointment at 5:00 and was told that our therapist would be right back. He showed up at 5:10pm with Starbucks in hand, went into his office and made a phone call that had nothing to do with my son, and then came back and talked to the receptionist for a minute before he called my son back at 5:18pm. My son's appointment ended at 6:00pm even though our son went back late and we were billed for the full hour. My son's last appointment was 1/31/2012. I was watching for the questionnaires and on 2/13/2013 I called to inquire about why we hadn't received them. When Tamer called back I was told by him that he would get the report together in a shorter time since he hadn't gotten the questionnaires out right away. I was not informed that there was a small window of time that this could actually happen since he would be leaving on vacation. I received them in the mail on 2/15/2012. I was assuming that my son's teacher's questionnaire would go directly to her, but it was sent to me. So I had to hand deliver the questionnaire to her, wait for her to fill it out during the week that conferences were being held, pick it up from his teacher and get the questionnaires back to Croix Counseling. My husband dropped the questionnaires off at the office on 2/25/2013. I called Croix counseling later in the afternoon to find out if I needed to schedule an appointment or if my son's therapist would call when he was ready. I was informed that our therapist would actually be leaving for vacation next week (2/4-2/8) and would also be out of the office on 2/11. I was beyond upset and asked what I would need to do to get copies of my son's records so I could take him somewhere else. The receptionist said that she would leave a message for our therapist to see if there was any way he could put the report together before he left for vacation next week. She called back on 2/26/2013 to let me know that was unable to happen and that I would have to schedule my appointment when our therapist returned from vacation. The receptionist also said that the owner would be in today and that she would let her know what had been going on. I went in this afternoon and filled out the Release of Information. I was told that it could take 2-3 weeks to get the information back.I asked her again about the $137.14 and was told that the lady that does billing had gone home for the day and that she would leave her a note. As she was looking into this she also told me we had and outstanding bill for $180 something.I stormed out of there. I got a call back at around 5:00pm to pick up the paperwork.I also asked for an itemized billing statement. Upon arriving to Croix Counseling I was given the paperwork and itemized statement and was told that there actually was not a balance due. I was confirming what the paperwork we were given at our first appointment stated about the time that therapists have to review charts and patient time when Tamer stepped out of his office and asked me "What seems to be the problem, it seems like every time you are here there is an issue." The only time that I had made a scene was when I was in there earlier today because I let my emotions get the best of me. He continued to tell me that "this isn't a Burger King Dive Thru kind of place" and that "it has only been two months since your first appointment"I didn't expect this to be a fast process, but was basing everything off of what I was told by HIM. When I said something about being stuck because our insurance would not cover another assessment so I couldn't take our son somewhere else he laughed under his breath and said "yeah mmmmmhmmmmm, so you have two choices, take your paperwork and leave or schedule your appointment for when I get back from vacation." As my kids andI were leaving,he came out of his office, stood at the end of the counter with his arms crossed, trying to intimidate me. My response was" Can I help you?" and he walked away The owner never did come talk to me.

My therapist Jeana was nothing but a disappointment. She dressed super innapropriate for her profession, and she treats CHILDREN AND TEENS. My worst experience with therapy was at MPS. I will be tramatized for a long time after my work with my Jeana. You all should Google Brad Nevins (the owner of mps) name, he has 2/5 stars and 11 people reviewed him that way. (This what research has shown me) Some people have mentioned here (comments were deleted) that the comments where fake. What I find interesting about this is if click on the person giving a reviews name they have reviewed in 5 or more states.... the comments seem to "professional" and theirs either 5 star reviews or one star.... that's interesting out of 30 comments. I'll let you be the judge of that. Let's also mention how a worker here told clients they accept a certain insurance only to find out all your appointments were not covered... which put so many people $1000s of dollars in debt. Fortunately I only had to pay a few hundred while others patients have been seen for over a year had thousands upon thousands to pay. Again my experience. Go somewhere else or across the river, they have way better options than what's available in the hudson area, especially for DBT. MPS defines the reason you need a no star option for reviews.
