I needed flowers in a pinch same day and they had the flowers ready in 15 minutes. A beautiful bouquet of rose and sunflowers. They even placed it in a container that made it so much easier for me to drive with the flowers. I walked in and they called me out by name without me having to introduce myself. I felt very welcomed. Such a pleasant experience. Also very affordable. Thank you very much to the kind women running this florist shop. read more

What a pleasure to work with Sarah on a bereavement bouquet for a dear family. Sarah took the time to understand my thoughts and budget, and worked with me to navigate their website, customizing a beautiful arrangement for a fair price. Their turnaround time is excellent, and I even got a photo of the flowers before they were delivered. Well done!!! read more

This is the second time I'm receiving an arrangement and I'm really disappointed. The arrangement feels like it just got thrown together. Greenery is weak and hangs of my vase.. overall it's just a no for me. read more

Called to order a specific flower arrangement for a friend's birthday. There was also a joke aspect to the flowers and message and the folks at Venetian Flowers couldn't have been more helpful. Not only did they say they could definitely fill the order as requested, they helped tweak the message and picked the perfect flowers to help us pull everything off perfectly, at a reasonable cost, and with a beautiful arrangement. Highly recommend this florist to one and all. read more

I've ordered from them before and had a good experience. This time I ordered flowers for Valentine's Day for my mom and decided to go for the arrangement that was more $ than I've ever spent. My mom was delivered a tiny arrangement that was not comparable to the pricing. I called and told them and they said sorry yeah we had to bring pricing up for Valentine's Day. I told them we were unhappy and that I thought I was splurging but instead they delivered the smallest bouquet they've ever delivered to us. They just said "that's the size". I won't be ordering from them again. read more

I received a lovely large rose bouquet for my Birthday. On day 2, one rose was limp. By day 5, over half were limp so I took photos & went to the shop. The lady told me it was because they didn't get fresh water daily & I should have been cutting the stems at an angle!! She gave me several fresh roses to replace the roses that were dying.....I had to rearrange the entire bouquet and cut all stems including the greenery. They lasted 4 more days. Very disappointing. read more

They left no trace on our property. Beautiful job. Highly recommend! read more

Very happy with Venetian Flowers. I love that I can order the day before and they will deliver next day no problem. (Not sure if they do same day, but they might?) I've ordered flowers from them twice for my Grandma who lives in Venice and the flowers are always really beautiful and fresh. They also send a delivery notification email with a photo of the actual bouquet they sent which is so nice to see & is really appreciated. Will continue ordering directly from this local florist rather than teleflora or something that might be cheaper but comes from a far away florist in Sarasota and the flowers end up hot and wilted by the time they get to her... which has happened in the past. read more

Great flower arrangement for a birthday. We moved from east south Fl didn't have an florist as good as this group!

The woman I spoke to acted like she could've cared less that I wanted to order a flower arrangement from her. They had no balloons that were appropriate for a new baby boy, no stuffed animals for a new baby boy, and she acted like she could've cared less that I said maybe I should look someplace else. She did not care about her job or my niece. read more

Flowers were nice, but expecting more given I upgrade to Deluxe design. For $30 more, it appears they only added a lot of greenery compared to the picture on their website. I was expecting they would add more flowers. The greenery seemed to cover up the flowers, was not impressed with the final product that was delivered to my wife for her birthday. read more

I paid $20 extra for the "deluxe" version of the flowers and got three extra roses and an orchid in it. It actually looked SMALLER than the regular version advertised on the website. I emailed twice to ask for a refund and my emails were ignored. So, I called and was told that roses are $4.50 each (really?? In what universe???) and that I got what I paid for. No, "Sorry it wasn't any bigger or impressive" or "Sorry we ignored your emails to us." Won't be using them again, sadly. read more

I ordered flowers online for my mother from Venetian Flowers and she loved them! Website was easy to navigate and I added delivery instructions for a no contact delivery in Venice. I never post but feel I must! After the expensive Orchid I sent my Sister started dying and wilting within days after she received it - I emailed, called and texted the store and finally received a response to my text. We agreed she would bring the plant back and they would give her a new one. When she arrived, she was accused by the staff of bringing in a plant that was not theirs, then accused of being the reason the plant was wilting and told to leave the store. They told her we don't have time to make you a new plant and that we don't need your business. They were RUDE and OBNOXIOUS - I will never use them again! Find a better florist in the area!! Their behavior was outrageous!! read more

Venetian Flowers did a beautiful job on the arrangement we sent to family in Venice. The flowers delivered were almost exact to the photo shown online. We had a slight hiccup during the ordering process but the Manager called me back, after business hours, and we got it straightened out right away and the delivery took place the next morning. They did a great job and my brother and sister-in-law loved the flowers. Thanks for a job well done and superior customer service. We will definitely be ordering from Venetian Flowers again. read more

We stopped in at Venetian Flowers in Venice on May 4, 2022. We had hoped to talk to a person about ordering flowers for our birthday celebration. We were met by a woman who was most unhelpful because this Sunday is Mother's Day. I mentioned we were interested in 2 arrangements with lilies and roses. She told us she could not say if she would have these flowers available on June 1. (Yet they claim to plan flowers for weddings??) She told us to look on their website - but she then told us the website was taken down. Perhaps if she would have suggested returning next week and have someone meet with us, we would do business with Venetian Flowers. I can say we won't be back. Apparently, customer service is not important when you are busy! Jane M read more

No regrets using Venetian flowers.I found the bouquet I desired on Yelp, rang Venetian Flowers, and placed my order. The very helpful associate suggested to deliver the flowers one day later to ensure the freshest flowers in my grandmother's bouquet. Grandma loved them! She's a sap for beautiful floral arrangements. Venetian Flowers sends you a picture of the floral arrangement prior to delivery--a very nice touch to differentiate themselves from their competitors. There is a mildly expensive delivery charge of $12, but well worth it in my opinion. read more

I'm very upset here in California. Contacted Venetian flowers this AM to try to get flowers for my grandmother in Sarasota. Picked what I wanted and was on the phone with a woman ready to take my order, but she needed to call me back. I have been waiting 3 hours for the call and have missed the deadline for delivery tomorrow on my second choice online flower delivery service. I was really hoping for a good experience, but now on top of worrying about my grandmothers health, I feel terrible because I don't have flowers for delivery. It's now late in the day and if I go online as originally planned I'm certain to have a large charge. Venetian, you let me down. I've been trying to reach you guys all day since you promised a call back. Ive been texting you as well. I tried my hardest to contact you as you PROMISED tomorrow delivery and PROMISED a call back. I left 3 text messages and 2 phone messages over 5 hours since we spoke on the phone. Thankfully, I was able to reach Flowers by Fudgie before they closed for the day. Trying to get your beautiful designs was not worth the heart ache... beware. read more
