We shared the pork entrée for two and ordered an extra side of truffle fries. For a two person entrée, the quantity is on the light side. However, it is just enough if both people are light eaters. Would definitely order an additional dish if you would like a more substantial meal. That being said, the pork was done perfectly, and we really liked the spetzel on the side.

We were greeted at the door and went through normal Covid vaccine protocol. Our waiter was friendly and personable. We had a fairly large party of 18 and he had to work two tables on his own. My girlfriend and I shared the pork belly appetizer, which was very flavourful. The juxtaposition of ingredients worked well. It just wasn't served piping hot. I had the Hazelnut crusted braised beef and it was very good. Again, the ingredients and flavours worked very well together, but I found the dish just wasn't hot enough to my liking (it could be expected when eating out with such a large party) My girlfriend went with the Diplomat salad. It was pretty good. It was heavy on the dressing and a bit sour, but that's subjective. From a flavour standpoint, it was good. Overall, the experience was good! I wouldn't suggest this restaurant for a date night since it's quite loud in there, but for a birthday dinner or a get together with friends or family, it's a nice spot in downtown Hamilton. The menu doesn't offer the most selection as well and seems to be all over the place in terms of a particular style of food. Definitely a trendy spot!

The seats were incredible and we had a fantastic view of the stage from the left centre orchestra. When I looked up, I was surprised to see that the hall appeared bigger than the TSO. There were multiple decks of seats and many people could fit into the venue. The employees were all very friendly and the beverages were well priced. We found it challenging to park in the area due to all of the traffic and one way streets but once we found the entrance to the hall (we first went in the wrong door) it was a pleasant experience to the very end. I noticed people dressed up more for the symphony here than they do in Toronto, which is an interesting observation. Would we return? Absolutely!

The sheer amount of preparation and planning involved is something that even the most Type A of personalities even drive themselves crazy with. We had an absolute pleasure working with Dianna Savelli and the rest of the Scottish Rite Club team for our wedding on October 2016. With my husband living in Toronto and myself in Chicago, Dianna made it easy for us to correspond with one another through email, Skype and phone conversations. It never felt like we were planning an entire wedding from a distance nor did it ever feel like we were taking too much on our plate. The structure of their wedding packages make everything so simple and easy that you simply just have to speak your dreams and it will come to life My husband, our families, our friends and I cannot stop raving about this day. Yes, nearly four months later and we cannot stop thinking about all the perfections that came to fruition and how we couldn't have done it without the help and guidance of Dianna and her staff. While I know Dianna has moved onto other ventures outside the Scottish Rite, the staff here has always been courteous and ready to go above and beyond their call of duty to make sure your day will be just right. Pricing? It is on par with a wedding of this caliber, you will pay money, but you will have the best day, the best food, the best wedding ceremony and reception you could every have imagined. Thank you so much for making our day something we will remember for a lifetime and beyond. We love you guys.

I arrived before the presentation started to find that the staff had closed the kitchen and thrown out the rest of the food. So if you are unfortunate enough to have to go to Scottish Rite, and can't come early, which is likely, because they also lied about there being any sort of available parking anywhere, which will leave you to circle the neighbourhood for half an hour before you can leave your car anywhere, skip going through the front door and just head out to the backyard dumpster to look for the dinner you paid for.

I picked this months ago and after our experience, we were pretty satisfied overall. Our room was nice and spacious enough for the two of us. We had a queen bed and also a sofa that could be converted into a mattress from inside if needed. We also had a little kitchenette and full fridge which I was impressed by. We didn't use it during our quick stay but it was nice to have everything if we needed it. Breakfast was very nice actually. Since we stayed on the weekend, the hours were from 7:30-10:30 am. Food selection had alot of variety and there was always an attendant manning the area and greeting people. It was clean and accessible with many places to sit in the breakfast area. There were many rooms occupied on our floor, we could hear them when we were walking in the hall but not from our room. So I'm glad we weren't situated right next to any neighbors for our stay. All the staff and everyone we came in contact with were friendly, helpful, and professional. The only thing for me was that the fan was quite loud at times when I made the room cooler. It wasn't a white noise, "easy on the ears" type of sound. But luckily it would go away after some time. And the sofa was very firm, it wasn't comfortable. Those are really the only complaints about this place that I have, everything else was done well and we had a great stay here. Location was perfect for the TD Coliseum, restaurants in the area, and also for transportation and bus stops. It's walking distance and accessible to so many things. All in all, this was a 4.5/5 experience for me. If we have another concert here or weekend trip in Hamilton, we would stay here again. Thank you!
