I have been seeing Nu religiously for at least 6 years now, and will NEVER go anywhere else. I have been getting my lashes done for about 10 years, and she provides quality work in a nice environment and is always so friendly. I am able to go 3-4 weeks in between each fill without issue. They thin out naturally, so I never have any "gaps" in my lashes, and last so nicely. The few times I have had to go elsewhere due to scheduling conflicts, the lashes look great at first, but only last for about a week. I have never had this issue with Nu. I am a hairstylist, and have sent multiple clients to Nu. Everyone that I have sent to her is extremely satisfied with her work, and becomes a regular customer. Wow!! I went to Velvet lash for the first time over the weekend and I have to say it is sooooo nice! It's super clean and the vibe here feels great! The location is perfect because it's right by my dry cleaners, Star Nursery and my fave fast food joint - In& Out! I've been getting my lashes done for a few years now and I've come to know quite a lot about them. I know that I don't like them to look ridic or feel heavy or over the top or SO natural that you don't even notice. I have been to Sassy's and Pink Cherry and a few well know establishments but I have to say that Nu is by far The Best Lash Artist. Nu is really sweet and fun to talk too AND she's extremely professional, prompt and her work is on point every time! For all the years I have been getting my lashes done, I have never had any issues with my extensions. There are no fees or constant appointment changes (on her end). Velvet Lash takes card payments and they also offer volume and classic lashes. So if you're not sure what you want - you have options. Im addicted!! The only person I let do my lashes! Nu is amazing. She always leaves my lashes super nice and fluffy (my length is 13mm) her appointments are pretty quick about an hour give or take. I like to go in every 2-3 weeks. Even when it's been 3 weeks and I feel like I need a fill I will always get compliments on my lashes about them looking so good. I am so happy that I was recommended by my aunt and cousin who have been going to Nu for months now. They're lashes always look so pretty, light and natural and that was the exact look I am going for. I decided to book an appointment with her, (make sure you do so in advance, she is always booked!) but as soon as I arrived to my appointment I was surprised with how cute her business is, super girly, modern and chic! It was like a hidden gem! She was very sweet and patient with me and made sure I got the right length and fullness I wanted with my eye shape, which is very important to me. It's a very personalized experience. My session lasted 1.5-2 hours not too long for a full set. I am so happy with my new lashes!! It's been almost 3 weeks now and the retention is amazing! I thought I had found "my girl" but then I started noticing she was gluing the lashes to my skin which would cause bad reactions. Then I found Nu.
