She said that the staff told her she has "more hair than their average customer." This sort of comment is detrimental to the mental health of a 19 year old girl. Why would a place that specializes in HAIR REMOVAL shame a young girl for having hair, something that is extremely normal?? This is a comment she thinks about daily. Truly. It may have been an offhand comment that was not meant to offend, but it did. This sort of language is completely unacceptable and I am very very disappointed. -- Dr. McGee, PhD of Food Science

Not to mention the horrible wait time and disorganization. I had been a loyal customer since they were originally in Mercy Hospital. Once they moved from Mercy, they opened an office on Coral Way. Loved their service, staff and ambience in that office. Coral way location is absolutely stellar. They kept their excellence. However, they went on to open another location, which is the South Miami location. I decided to switch locations to their South Miami since it was closer to home. What a mistake. What a disappointment. Most recently, I had to contact the office manager at the South Miami location, her name is Greta. She still has not called me back or emailed me back. You would think that during these unprecedented times, they would be taking precautions and following CDC guidelines with their customers and staff. Not the case in this office. My appointment was at 2:20 PM on September 4th, and it was 3:10 PM and I still wasn't seen. I was still waiting in that waiting room while people kept coming in and out, one after the other, and the technician was still unavailable to see me. Horrible experience. We make appointments for a reason!!!!!! It's understandable having to wait 10, 15 minutes, maybe even 30 minutes, but 50 minutes????? Come on. More exposure for me to have gotten Covid-19!!! Never going back there again. They lost my business of over 5 years. I would however, try their coral way location.

Till this day I'm still waxing and shaving both areas, since I moved out of Miami and I'm not close to the only place that I did my laser and have lasting results (Lasoderm) I'm stuck to continue shaving and waxing until I find another place. My friend also did laser at Prestige and she had better results than me which tells me it may be because of her tone of skin being the Caucasian type and I'm more olive skin that the machine they use here which is the Candela Yag did not worked for me. I pretty much threw my money off the drain with getting laser here. However, the owner David is super nice and accommodating. I wish my results would have been better after I completed my treatment but they were not.

I decided to do my underarms because I had to shave my underarms every. single day. I also decided to do Brazilian because I prefer being hairless in that area. I am currently on my 6th laser hair removal session for my underarms and the 5th for my Brazilian. I am sooo happy with my results so far. Currently I have no more growth of coarse black hair at all and only patchy thin hair. I don't have to shave until I go to my next appointment. It takes about 8-12 sessions that you do every 4-6 weeks. Is there pain? The underarms are very tolerable, I almost don't pay attention to it even at the highest setting. However, the Brazilian, oh man, you can get sweaty from the session and sometimes you have to ask them to give you a break buuuut I will take the few seconds of pain for not shaving and would still recommend laser to everyone even in this sensitive area. You won't regret it! :)

I am writing my second review for Med Aesthetics Miami in Aventura because I truly felt compelled to come back and share my honest results. I must admit, although the staff and my Nurse Practitioner Roseanna were extremely kind after my first VIP peel and laser treatment, I panicked afterward and honestly thought I had wasted my time and money. I even called her this morning to apologize for how emotional and impatient I became when I thought the treatment had not worked. For anyone suffering from melasma, please understand this: patience is truly a virtue with this condition. Even when you stay out of the sun, warm air and heat can make it feel like your melasma is still very present. However, if you carefully follow the directions, wear your sunscreen consistently, and keep your face cool, you begin to notice the treatment working deeper after the first shedding phase of the skin. I will be posting photos of my progress because I want women to see the truth for themselves. These photos are WITHOUT filters. What shocked me the most is that I had previously been told by many dermatologists and technicians that no peel or treatment would truly help my melasma. I developed mine after using retinol in the sun, which was a huge mistake. Still, there was something about Roseanna and her team that I simply could not deny. Their energy, professionalism, honesty, and confidence made me trust the process, even when I became skeptical. I had never spent this much money on my face before. My treatments were a little under $700 for a series of three, and at first I questioned myself deeply. But now? It was worth every penny, especially for results that can truly change your confidence long-term. I highly recommend scheduling a consultation at Med Aesthetics Miami in Aventura for anyone struggling with melasma or stubborn pigmentation issues. After years of seeing different dermatologists, nurse practitioners, and skin specialists, I genuinely never expected results like this. I truly owe this experience to ROSEANNA and her amazing team, and I am already looking forward to returning for Morpheus8 treatments. TRUST HER. This review comes from a real patient, real emotions, and real results.

Bia, a nice lady from Brazil, immediately scheduled me for a waxing/sugaring. Gisela, a nice lady from Venezuela, did my waxing/sugaring and left me with smooth and silky skin. I am grateful! I also inquired about the coffee body scrub I saw displayed in the waxing/sugaring room. Gisela kindly explained to me that one should first shower with soap before applying the moisturizing and exfoliating scrub. I am glad she explained that to me since, all these years, I have been using scrub before showering with soap and have been losing the full moisturizing benefits of the scrub. Moreover, Bia, gave me great first time customer discounts on my waxing/sugaring and informed me of a membership program whereby I would pay an initiation fee of $9.99, $45 a month to get a full bikini wax and 10% off of any additional waxing/sugaring services. I found out too that they also offer laser hair removal services as well as hydra facials, microdermabrasion and various natural facial peels. I will definitely be back for more waxing/sugaring services. I came back to have my facial hair waxed. Nicole, a young American girl shaped/tidied my eyebrows and waxed the hair on my upper lip and chin. She carefully and skillfully removed ingrown hairs that could not come out with the wax with assorted tweezers. She recommended that I buy and use a roll-on serum they sell to exfoliate skin and prevent ingrown hairs if used 3 times a week. I did. I just went for the third time to Nature Hair Removal & Skin Care. Gisela gave me a full body wax and I feel like a new woman with smooth and silky skin! Also, following her advice to exfoliate with the coffee body scrub has had great results, I have fewer ingrown hairs, my skin is easier to wax and my skin is also smoother!
