Had an amazing time going Bar to bar on the velocipede with 14 of my friends. We decided to do two breweries and two bars in a three hour tour. The time went by so fast because we were having the time of our life. Favorite part is rolling into a new bar and watching everyone taking pictures to capture the moment. The tour guide was very accommodating and professional. Will definitely do again.

This was so fun! Thank you Josh! We went for my friend's Bachelorette, and we got to check out some cool places and try good drinks.

    Have they opened back up?

Natasha, thanks for checking. We are not yet reopened. When the bars are closer to fully open, we will open. Its looking promising, we are hoping by mid summer we can get back out there.

Last year, we signed up for our first combo tour: Alcatraz + Haight walking tour. Due to the 2018 fires, our SF trip was severely affected, including the cancellation of the Alcatraz portion. The walking tour was still made available at our own risk given the horrible air quality, but SF on Tap staff were very flexible, refunded our Alcatraz portion, and still conducted a great walking tour led by Lina. The history we learned, the beer knowledge, and the breweries we visited was fantastic. By the end of the tour, our little group was happy, tipsy, and chatty. It was a great first experience! So this year, we went back to San Francisco and did the Alcatraz + Fisherman's Wharf walking tour. Weather was fantastic this time, and the process for getting our tickets plus the actual day of activites was seamless. Prepare for a long day of walking if you do the combo tour. Dress comfortably and wear very comfy shoes. We did the Alcatraz audio tour, which helps you cover the main portions of the site, but there is definitely more to explore, so don't anticipate being able to do it all when you have to be back on shore with time to spare for lunch plus arriving for the 2pm beer tour. So....plan your morning accordingly. After Alcatraz, we had lunch at Boudin at Pier 39 then took a 5min Lyft ride to Ghirardelli Square for the start of our Fisherman's Wharf beer tour. Our guide was Dylan. Dylan did a great job and took us on quite an adventure through Fisherman's Wharf and Little Italy area. Although the beers on this particular tour were not my favorite (except for the barley wine and sour at the end!), I appreciated deepening my knowledge of the neighborhood and of course....brewing! I also love the intimate nature of the tour, like when we get to the breweries / pubs, and there is already dedicated space for us to sit, enjoy, learn, and drink! Dylan did his best to personalize our beer options to our tastes, so that was much appreciated. At the end of the tour, Dylan provided some fantastic dinner recommendations, since the tours end by 6pm. Trust me, you will be hungry! Both Lina and Dylan provided us with memorable craft beer experiences. My boyfriend and I look forward to going 3 for 3 and doing the SoMA walking tour next year! We are true SF on Tap fans!! You won't regret booking with SF on Tap, especially if you want a personalized craft beer experience and want to learn about the city's rich history and the details of brewing.

The weather was perfect and it was a fun, engaging experience. They narrate most of the ride out, pointing out significant ships and places along the channel. You pass Alameda, sail over BART, glide under the Bay Bridge, and cruise by Angel Island. If you listen, you will definitely learn something new. The best place to sit or stand is on the right (facing Oakland). I was inside, because I needed to sit, but there was easy access to the back of the boat. I got some great pics. There is also easy access to the snack bar. They have candy, chips, soda, and other snackables. The surprise offering was cup of noodles, which seemed really popular. They did a brisk business the whole trip. The best parts for me were the cranes, seeing the bridge up close, and check your the lighthouse on Angel Island, particularly the cranes. Shout to George Lucas. He claims the cranes weren't the inspiration for the imperial walkers on Hoth. We all know better. Anyway, be prepared to stand in line a bit before boarding (like at least 1/2 an hour), lots of people, and lots of kids. It seemed popular with families. Time seemed approximate. The tour started "late" and ended a bit late. Nothing too obscene, just don't plan anything immediately following. The tours are popular, so sign up early. Again, it's free, and it's pretty delightful. Definitely recommended.

There is plenty of parking and signage in the lot directing you where to go. The Sea Trek office is clean, organized, and cute and Sylvia pointed out where everything was including the bathrooms, changing areas, and lockers. The class itself is about 2 hours long and started off with the basics before getting into the water. Then once we got in the water, Sylvia was great about suggesting where to paddle and guiding us on what to do when standing up on the board. The waters in the lagoon were very calm and easy enough for me to navigate. Everyone on the water was friendly and greeted us as we paddled by. Since there was only one other person in the class, Sylvia was able to keep it flexible and left it up to us to decide where we wanted to go and what we wanted to learn. I was glad that Sylvia spent time training us on what to do when falling off of the board as well. The course didn't feel like a standard class and instead was more like a paddle session with a fun friend who just happens to be an SUP expert. Steve was also helpful and answered all of my questions on future paddle sessions with my family. All in all, I really enjoyed my time here and I can't wait to go back!

His prices are SUPER competitive and substantially better than any others. He quoted us for a party bus but unfortunately he was already booked. Keep in mind we reached out to him on a weeks notice. But.... any other company would have just told us they were booked and that would be the end. Not Jaye! He went and jumped through hoops to get us an equivalent party bus with an affiliate vendor/company. He was available to us 24/7 and never stopped advocating for us. It took several tries and many companies, but he booked us a party bus! To top it off, he was able to have them honor the same rate that he had negotiated with us. Our party bus experience was wonderful and we owe it all to Jaye who went above and beyond. This speaks volumes as there was literally nothing in it for him monetarily because we used another companies party bus. But I can guarantee you that the next time we need another party bus or car service, we will be coming straight back to Jaye. I highly recommend him! His professionalism and work ethic are incredibly rare and we appreciated it greatly! Thank you Jaye!

For anyone not hardcore Chinese, like myself, this tour is a necessity for braving the Andrew Zimmern-like delights of Oakland Chinatown. I mean, let's face it. But with Carlo's trusty & knowledgable guidance, we were all able to relax & really enjoy the wonders that this non-touristy Chinatown has to offer. & it wasn't all about food. Though there was more than enough downright delicious food at each our 4 restaurant stops to stuff all of us, even with plenty of walking during the tour. The Oakland Chinatown tour also had a healthy helping of history mixed in that deepened the understanding & appreciation of this neighborhood.
