We are VIP members, so I went to the counter with the $64.99 shoes and asked if there are any discounts at all for these shoes for VIP. The woman just gave a non answer, "I don't know, they are all different". No help at all. So if you want a discount, search for the shoes that you want in the store, try them on to be sure you want them. Then, search for online coupons, then sign into your VIP account, then enter any code that works, and as a VIP member, you should get free shipping. So the shoes we wanted went from $64.99 with no discount help at all in store, to $42.24 for the same shoes online.

The one I spoke with even went online to find out something I inquired about for which she did not have a ready answer. There are also a lot of Nikes for all sorts of sports and walking. The only weakness appeared to be in the men's dress shoe area, where there was not much to look at. Other than that, the experience at Famous Footwear was a positive and consuming one.

I told him that the shoes were half the price on Amazon (they are $139 there and Amazon has them for $70). After I said that he said "You want me to let you try on shoes here when you want to buy them from Amazon?". He actually yelled it so the other person in the store could hear it. I told him I just wanted to try them on, I wasn't even sure I was going to buy them here or anywhere. I walked over to the shoes again and waited till he was done with the other person. After he was done with her I went back up to him and told him that the conversation between me and him were no one else's business. I asked him why he had to say it so loud so the whole store could hear? He threw the shoes on the counter and said here go try them on. At that time I asked him why he was acting like this? He told me to leave the store. I said why should I have to leave the store, all I wanted to do is try on a pair of shoes. He then proceeded to tell me that he was going to lock the front door. He went and locked the door so I called the police. In the meantime I seen a security guard walk by and I knocked on the window for him to come in the store. I told the security guard what was going on and the security guard let me out of the store. I filed a complaint with the mall. I still can't believe how this Manager of this store acted. Anthony & Carolyn offered to take my item to get the diamonds tested so that I'd get the most out of selling it as I'm not sure I even want to part with it. I don't do yelp reviews but just the fact they were both so down to earth and nice I had to. The selection of women's clothes is huge I'll definitely be going back to check out the men's stuff they have. I will update after our business is finished but so far I can't say enough about them.
