We really enjoyed this museum that covers the natural history of Denmark. There was a special…read moreexhibit on Genghis Khan and the Mongol Empire. They had a lot of artifacts that were brought back by a Danish explorer. In other areas they covered the people and culture of Denmark over thousands of years. The main attraction is the bog body. That's the body of a man who lived 2000 years ago. It is well preserved by the bog. We spent far more time here than we should have because it was so interesting.

This is an entirely audio-based museum, but the headphones can be a bit finicky. As a bonus, you get free admission to his childhood home, which is a short walk away.

And it's way less expensive than other attractions we've visited so far (that also counts for the souvenir shop). It's an absolute must. I would really recommend to go there on a sunny day though.
