It's a lovely area to explore if you have the time. The grounds are beautiful and quite large. We didn't get a chance to go inside the castle because it wasn't opening until later. I probably would have skipped it if I'd known the inside didn't open until later. read more

This kind of place is the exact reason why I came to visit Denmark. When the sun is shining, the park and the castle are an incredible sight. And it's way less expensive than other attractions we've visited so far (that also counts for the souvenir shop). It's an absolute must. I would really recommend to go there on a sunny day though. read more

Egeskov castle is a real gem hidden in the middle of Fyn. Here you'll find several mazes, a huge rose garden, a motorcycle museum, a segway track, playgrounds and the opportunity to walk amongst the treetops:-) There are several places to eat and the quality is really good. There's quite a few animals on the vast property and Egeskov is just the perfect place to spend the day:-) read more

My husband and I enjoyed Egeskov quite a bit! We came a little later at 3pm, the inside of Castle and museums are only open until 5pm. But we had enough time to zip through the inside areas. Then at 5pm when all the tourists left, we walked all the outdoor gardens and different views of the castle. Because the outdoor parts stay open. The price of admission is around 30 USD which is not cheap, but the experience is worth it! read more

Beautiful Medieval castle! The park has serveral theme gardens where peacocks wander around. There is a café. The Golden Egg and a sunwatch designed by Piet Hein. A playground and a big labyrinth for children, tree walking and goats. A garden house where you can buy plants. Museums with veteran cars, bycicles, fire trucks, planes and other things. And of course there is the castle itself which is really small but overall nice. The park is probably what's worth seeing the most and it's really worth it, if you love gardens! read more
