Her diagnosis was different than the diagnosis from a different doctor. Hers was the correct one that saved me from enduring a lengthy, expensive, and possibly harmful treatment. I advised him of the pain I was having in my legs along with weakness and all he does is check my pulse on my ankles and tells me my color on the legs was good so I had no vascular disease. REALLY !!! NO SCAN, NO MRI, NO ULTRASOUND??? Just check the pulse? I advised him I had radiation therapy for prostate cancer and perhaps a vein was damaged. His response was "It's possible "?? I got a few different consults, and Dr. Foley was the only one that recognized the issue was actually a faulty vein further up on my inner lower thigh that was causing the calf issues. He recommended Microphlebectomy. I was scared to do it but he and Lindsey made me feel so at ease and reassured. I healed wonderfully, and am so much more comfortable now.
