This food is so exquisite. I tried about 5 different things on the menu and not a single one…read moredisappointed. They have a mastery of flavor, texture and presentation.
The best thing on the menu is their barbecue jackfruit, a tender, lucious flavor you won't believe is made of plants. It goes perfectly with their sweet potato fries, the thin, perfectly spiced morsels that strike the balance between crispiness and still tasting true to their status as a vegetable.
The udon broth bowl was complex and comforting, with tender mushrooms, kimchi that was flavorful without being overly sour, and the kind of rich broth that's impossible to replicate at home.
Don't miss the burrito either, or the multiple sauces that can transform any of the dishes.
Lastly, the service was great. The staff was so helpful in translating the menu for us and answering any questions, and getting us everything we needed to have a wholly satisfying experience. It's also very reasonably priced for the amount of food and quality that you get.
My only complaint is that I wish they had a menu that didn't move. Made the ordering process a little difficult. But it's made easier by knowing you really can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
