I had been working with another app creation company and got really frustrated with high costs and…read moredeadlines being missed. Everything got SO MUCH BETTER once I found Down River Design. DRD was very fairly priced, always on time and always exactly as specified. Dan is honest up front about the cost and timeline and sticks to them, often beating deadlines by days and weeks (which is unheard of in app development). They are capable of making websites, programming in IOS or Android, managing marketing campaigns and creating promotional material. I had my app finished, website created, and marketing all done through Down River Design, at a tenth of the charge I might expect from another contractor. Today I received some great organic downloads of my product and my very first sale! Thank you Dan!!

Nathan is kinda my hero…read more My brother game me a Sony Vaio laptop as a gift a few months back. It belonged to his wife and seeing as it was riddled with horrible viruses she had given up on trying to fix it and instead decided to just buy an Apple computer instead. Now I'm thinking I'll just do a factory reset and save myself the trouble of weeding out the viruses. To make a long story short... I deleted everything... including the operating system. Even better I didn't have the system restore discs to fix it. Basically, I epically failed. So I looked around for months trying to find someone to fix it but I don't drive so it was always an issue of finding a ride or they just wanted WAY too much to re-install the operating system I already had a key for. I browsed around on Yelp and found Gnome computers and decided to give them a shot. Nathan came within the hour to pick up my laptop from my house and within a few hours he had called me back to say everything was just about done. Unfortunately, my power supply had died but he had the computer fixed before the battery on my laptop went out. Nathan offered to go and purchase a new power supply for me but I decided, being a picky shopper, that I'd buy my own. He helped me Via text to pick the best one for my money then met me at my house by the time I was done shopping. We plugged the laptop in and it worked perfectly, he even helped me to download all the necessary updates and gave me some great advise on a new router. Nathan is worth every penny and even then his prices are exceedingly low for the service he renders. Also he's a SUPER nice guy, not creepy in the least, I'm a young lady who lives alone and I felt absolutely comfortable having him in my apartment. I know I'll be going back to him for any computer issues in the future.

I got hooked up with Good Work Marketing through a program at the Louisiana Small Business…read moreDevelopment Center. I went there looking for help getting my online store off the ground, and after learning what I needed/wanted, they paired me with Good Work. It was an absolute pleasure to work with them - I had a meeting with Summer from Good Work and we went over ideas of what I needed and what I wanted my site to look like, and within a couple of weeks they came back to me with a beautiful initial web design draft. I gave them a few tweaks, and ended up with a website that I often get compliments on. They were really helpful in showing me how to use the shopping cart software and have been very helpful since then any time I've run into questions or problems. I recently recommended them to another local business for a new website design, and I've seen the initial sketches, and again, their website is going to look amazing. I haven't had experience using their marketing services, but based on my previous experiences with them, I'm sure they would be equally excellent.

Brian's diagnostic process was thorough and efficient. He completed a technical audit, prioritized the most critical issues, and walked us through each recommendation in plain language.
