    We have been patrons of Woods Feed Store for 30 years. We have bought all our Dog Food there for…read moreup to 4 dogs at a time, and so much more yard and garden merchandise over the many years. Service has always been friendly and efficient. Always a warm greeting upon entering. A sincere "how can we help you". And they always carried the bags of food to our truck or car. Not so today. As I entered two other customers had just left the Counter. There were three people behind the Counter. An elderly lady whom I believe to be the Widow of the Owner, a young man and a young woman who was on a stool at the cash register. All there had been talking to the elderly woman who I suspect is their grandmother. I had never seen this young couple previously. Moments of standing the young woman finally asked what I needed. No smile. No friendliness. From her body language and demeanor it was plain she did not want to be of service. "Diamond Senior" I replied. "The 18 lb. bag". She started the register then asked "Do you want the 18 or 28lb bag?" "as I said, the 18lb bag" I responded with no irrigation in my voice. She pointed across the room and said "It is over there now?". I simply stood there speechless. She obviously expected me to go fetch it. The young man picked up on this, the Old Lady didn't. He took off across the store to the back wall. After more than a few moments, he rushed to the warehouse section and brought me the bag. So much for dropping it in my truck by the service door. I inserted my card into the machine got my receipt and left. No thank you. Just silence. I wanted to call the Owner to the side but she was just as oblivious to good service as was the young woman. I wanted to tell her that that girl needed to be properly trained or put out of public view. She has no business running the Counter, but fearing it is her Grandchildren, I left without saying a word. If TSC , which is a few miles closer to my home, carried the brand of food I need, this one bad experience would be enough for me to never go back. Sad. So many young people today do not seem to want to work. They want everything done for them. TSC and Atwood's demand all Associates to be Customer friendly and helpful. First question of their survey is "Were you greeted upon entering the door". I'll give Woods another chance. Maybe this was just an off day for the girl. We all have them. But, if this is a "new" attitude and how they will treat customers going forward, one more chance is all they will get from me.

    I have rented from several Aaron's across the United States and completed rental agreement without…read morean issue. This Aaron's in Cabot Arkansas is the worst I have ever experienced. The owner " Jim " has no idea of what he is doing and seems to not care if the customer is satisfied with the business practices Brandon , store manager is also totally uncooperative at this Aaron's location in Cabot Arkansas . I rented a new in box 75 " supposed top of the line television . It was delivered in my home and connected to the internet. But the delivery guy refused to use the television stand I had already. He said it was against policy to do so . It was left in the floor of the living room . After two days of trying to install purchased apps for television programming I was completely frustrated with the rental product and asked them to remove it I no longer wanted it . Their was never mention if replacement or apology for the inability to connect it and no help was offered . The $150. Was never offered for refund either. I had also rented a new washer and dryer a couple of months earlier and had to the best of my knowledge places them on auto pay for the first of each month due on the 5th of every month. ( I feel this is theft of the $150 down payment .). I was informed that the payment was missed and they wanted them back. It was very strange that the payments had been made previously without fail but now they were not on auto payment and I had missed payments and they would be repossessed. I asked them why the $150. Down payment for the television had not been used for the washer and dryer . I was told I didn't qualify for a refund of any money put down on the defective television and no apology was given either. I went to another location in Conway Arkansas and rented a washer and dryer without any issues . The Conway store has always been very accommodating with rentals . Made all rentals auto payments and made payments without issues. The way the Conway store is run is very professional and courtesy of management. I am Completely satisfied with rental purchases and will continue to deal in the future with them on any appliance needs . I also made a complaint to the cooperate office and was told I would be contacted within 24 hrs. No contact and cannot believe they don't want to be bothered by the business practices of this about Arkansas Aaron's.

    I purchased a living room set from Aarons. The couch and sofa was used, though I was told it was…read morenew. It was a floor model. It was not in plastic or anything when it was delivered. Every time I would sit on the furniture I was coughing so badly I had to start using my inhaler. I am allergic to pet dander, smoke, etc. I took the cushions completely off and used my vacuum to clean the back of the couch and love seat and there was fur balls, candy wrappers, and old gum in the far back of the couch. The love seat had dog hair that I assumed had shredded. Mine you, if I am one day late they are calling me. I went in the store and told them about my findings and the manager looked on the contract and said, that was a new set. That was not a new set even though I am being charged for new. The manager told me he would call a company to come shampoo the set. No one has called nor come to clean this sofa and love seat. I had to sell everything I had to move here otherwise I would not have used Aarons. These people need to be true to their word. These companies will say anything to pacify a customer but it's wrong. I hope these businesses realize that they will have to give account to God for all the decent fullness they have done to innocent customers. Hell is increasing on a daily bases. You businesses that are ripping customers off like Aarons, get it right before its too late. God is looking and booking. UPDATE!! I want to let consumers know that The manager at Aarons called me and swapped out the sofa set I had with a brand new set. I was able to sit on the couch and I was not coughing and did not have to use the air purifier. Thank you Aarons for handling business and making sure a customer was happy.
