Pete was polite and courteous throughout, even when the lender delayed the closing. I was on a different time zone for most of the buying process and he was very flexible with his working hours. Even after the sale, he has been very responsive to any questions that have come up about the house and he's been super helpful with local vendor/contractor recommendations. Highly recommend! My offer was going to be 50k over ask. The agent has ignored me, doesn't have time for me, just all around can't be bothered. It really seems like he's already got someone in his pocket. I was finally able to get a meeting, he showed up an hour later, waited in the parking lot for 45 mins. He rushed in the door said a couple things so fast I don't even know what was said and then couldn't be bothered showing me anything or answering or taking an offer. I just left. I guess the market is good enough to treat people like garbage.

NOLAN IS AN AMAZING AGENT, THERE ARE NONE BETTER...SERIOUSLY!!!…read more How we came to Nolan is through a bad experience initially with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage with one of their other agents and the Broker, Carol A. immediately contacted me to fix things. That spoke volumes to her professionality and careful consideration to a transaction gone bad. While the initial transaction couldn't be salvaged, she asked me to give Coldwell one more shot and said I would get one of her best agents ever. She wasn't kidding. She put us in touch with Nolan Formalarie and we began work the very next day. Due to several factors, we needed to work quickly on finding a home to purchase. Nolan accommodated every request, quickly, efficiently and effectively. He knew everything there was to know about each house we saw and even crawled into the crawl spaces of some homes I couldn't do to check if everything was good. He wore many hats! Nolan went so far above and beyond for us that I truly have never had such an attentive, informed, and all around wonderful and kind person work with my husband and I. If you are looking to purchase, sell or rent your home(s) in the Southport, Oak Island, Shalotte... heck all these areas and more... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you use Nolan. He's just amazing at what he does! Plain and simple.....USE NOLAN.... or your just settling for second best. Now that Nolan has opened his own real estate agency, DISCOVER NC HOMES, located in Southport, NC, I couldn't be happier for him. A guy like Nolan at the helm of his own ship can make things happen. We wish the best for you and yours.... thank you, thank you for everything and we look forward to staying in touch.

Precision was very quick in responding to my inquiry on a late Friday night. They were able to set…read moreup my appointment quickly for the next day on a Saturday in Wilmington. Before the arrival of the tech, they sent me a little biography of the technician Brandon, Including his hobbies and his picture. That was a nice touch. Brandon called me a little bit ahead of the appointment time to let me know that he finished a little bit earlier with the previous appointment and asked if it was OK to arrive a little bit earlier than the scheduled time. He was kind enough to take off his shoes before entering the house as we typically do that in our house. He stayed in the garage area and anytime he needed to communicate with me, he would knock on the garage door. Once he assessed the garage, he gave me his assessment and his recommendations. Although pricey, as expected, I trusted his professional recommendations and felt reassured that the replacement of the garage springs, bearings with appropriate metal bearings, and rollers with appropriate metal roller are going to last 30 years. The lifetime warranty within 30 years was also very reassuring. After he fixed the garage and replaced the materials as listed above, he explained the reasoning of why it broke in the first place. The original springs were of low quality, underweight for the heavy garage door, and not installed properly with eight turns instead of seven turns. The rollers were plastic and rusted, and the bearing was plastic. Unfortunately, the previous owner was the one who had repaired the garage springs seven years ago So it is to be assumed that he had either done it himself or he had a company that did not do a good job. I am very glad I decided not to replace the garage springs on my own as it is a tedious and strenuous project. Brandon completed it in less than an hour. He was very nice and professional throughout the entire time. Precision was very good with their communication. I feel very confident and grateful for having precision repair our garage. Thank you.
