NOLAN IS AN AMAZING AGENT, THERE ARE NONE BETTER...SERIOUSLY!!!…read more How we came to Nolan is through a bad experience initially with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage with one of their other agents and the Broker, Carol A. immediately contacted me to fix things. That spoke volumes to her professionality and careful consideration to a transaction gone bad. While the initial transaction couldn't be salvaged, she asked me to give Coldwell one more shot and said I would get one of her best agents ever. She wasn't kidding. She put us in touch with Nolan Formalarie and we began work the very next day. Due to several factors, we needed to work quickly on finding a home to purchase. Nolan accommodated every request, quickly, efficiently and effectively. He knew everything there was to know about each house we saw and even crawled into the crawl spaces of some homes I couldn't do to check if everything was good. He wore many hats! Nolan went so far above and beyond for us that I truly have never had such an attentive, informed, and all around wonderful and kind person work with my husband and I. I am so grateful to Carol A (Broker) who first took the time to address my review of my experience with the other agent, act on it to correct it and then give me this gem of an agent and person. If you are looking to purchase, sell or rent your home(s) in the Southport, Oak Island, Shalotte... heck all these areas and more... I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you use Nolan. He's so good at what he does, he's always there for his clients no matter what and is unbelievable with his knowledge base of this industry, communities, amenities as well as having contacts in financing, etc... He's just amazing at what he does! Plain and simple.....USE NOLAN.... or your just settling for second best. We love you Nolan and so greatly appreciate all your work for us. We wish the best for you and yours.... thank you, thank you for everything and we look forward to staying in touch.

AGENT SOLD HOUSE TO OTHER FAMILY AFTER SELLING IT TO OURS!…read more UPDATED-SEE ORIGINAL BELOW After posting my review, the Broker, Carol reached out to me. She cared enough about her business to contact me to see what took place and was professional enough to discuss it. For that, I thank you Carol for your time and efforts in researching our experience with Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Advantage. After looking into the incident, she felt there was a lack of communication between my agent and Becky based on Becky's recollection of the events but I disagreed and held strong to the facts: 1. That there was an accepted offer by them to us 2. They had a Signed purchase agreement by us 3. Earnest monies were given to them There was no misunderstanding on our part, sorry Carol but facts are facts. Later we found out that Becky was offered a better deal and went with it, ignoring our paperwork. She never called us or our agent in the matter during our waiting for her signed copies back to us! This was all taking place while I was in surgery for breast cancer as well which she was made aware of during this process. To this day I still can't believe she thought this was acceptable business practice on any level never mind what we were going through as a fellow human being! After a few weeks, Carol asked if I would be open to discussing what happened with Becky directly. I welcomed it because up to that point, she hadn't even tried to contact us EVER! I never spoke or met her and didn't get a call or imessage after posting a poor review on her like Carol did immediately. NO effort on her part to resolve or make better this terrible experience. Becky called and we spoke at length about what happened. Clearly our perspectives were different but in the end, I kept reminding her she had already accepted our offer, received our signed documents and earnest monies (which she didn't dispute), so even if the seller changed their minds and didn't like an aspect of our agreement, we were never called and given the opportunity by Becky to work things out. Nothing was ever attempted! I told Becky about what me and my family went through house and cancer surgery same week. I even came directly from the hospital to our agent to drop off everything with my husband so they had it quickly. She shared she too had to go through difficult times like that with family. I would have thought she would have had more empathy or understanding regarding how this impacted our family because she too experienced this illness but there was no understanding being offered. Becky was frustrated with the conversation and fallout of my review. While I understood that she was upset, I only put the truth... if she was sorry, she should have reached out when all this happened and made her feelings known. My experience was that she just didn't care at the time but now that I posted the experience, she's felt the repercussions of it. I don't think she ever intended to call us, it was already behind her. I feel as if she was forced to make the call by the Broker. She said she was sorry for the "misunderstanding" after we spoke awhile and didn't reach understanding but it didn't feel genuine and I came out of that call feeling frustrated that nothing was resolved or healed between us. Sad really. I took my original post down for months. It is not my intention to hurt Becky's livelihood or future in the industry and I was concerned about it and still am. But, after careful consideration, I revised this post and reposted it because I always use reviews and referrals to guide my decisions on where I do business. Especially if I'm not familiar with the area. I felt it was my responsibility to put my experience back up because myself and my family were greatly impacted by this agent's work and I would hate for this to happen to another family. Hopefully, by adding this review back online, Becky will understand how damaging her choices were to this buyer and her family. I do hope she learns from our experience as I have. For me, reposting this review allows me a final voice I didn't have at the closing table. To finally put this difficult experience behind me. I also hope it's a reminder to us all that in business, your word should be your bond! Old school, yes, but authentic! If you have an accepted offer, signed purchase agreement and earnest monies given, honor what you agreed to... anything short of that is dishonorable.

Amazing Realtor! We looked at house with Becky for over a year and she was very knowledgeable about…read morethe area and gave us her honest opinion about the houses. We came back to visit the Southport area a number of times and each time she set up the showings and took great care of us. We eventually bought land instead of a house and I know after all this time she could have made more money on a home purchase than land, but in the end she wanted what made the most sense for us. I strongly recommend Becky Faust! Thank you
