I also have a skylight in the master bedroom dressing area that is way too much light for us in the morning and today a battery powered honeycomb shade was installed and voila!.. no more sun in the early morning hours. And get this, the batteries are rechargeable by the solar tube hidden within the shade's panel. It operates by remote control and the batteries are estimated to last about 2 1/2 years!
