Buying something as expensive and important as a house virtually seemed nuts. But as the new year began we started getting the urge to just take a look. Who knew that within just a few weeks we would have an accepted offer? There is no one else we would have felt comfortable buying remotely with. And the only reason we changed from just looking to seriously buying was because we came to trust and rely on Billy's opinions. He is not just a savvy and knowledgeable realtor, he is truly a sincere and nice guy. He would warn us that even if we lose out on a house, in the end it always works out (and SPOILER ALERT he's right). But he still commiserated with us when we were outbid and he really went above and beyond when we were searching for the right home. And he really does want to find you the right home. He will be honest with you about any negatives he sees and he will steer you away from any bad decisions. Sometimes we were so keen to just get a house that we were willing to settle or make hasty decisions. But Billy makes sure that whatever house you get is a great house and whatever you do is sound and smart. And I'm so glad that he was there with us helping make all our decisions. He would give us daily updates of his endeavors going door to door and networking with other agents. In the end it was a note of his he left on the door of a house that was off the market that did the trick. We were able to buy a house that was miles better than any of the other houses we put offers on with basically no other competition. In the crazy housing market right now you need someone like Billy who is willing to go the extra mile. He was always trying innovative techniques to help us stand out amongst other buyers and that's exactly what it takes these days. He's continued to be invaluable after closing. He was great to bounce ideas around with about updating the house after moving in and he and Heather have been great with recommendations. He is always super responsive and I'm so glad I can still rely on him even after we've closed.

This paired with Billy's deep knowledge and network in the Minnesota real estate community made for the dream team! We felt cared for (and about) at every turn. The entire experience was a joy!

"Good" is an understatement. From the first time we spoke with Kelly on the phone, we absolutely loved her. Her excellent communication skills were the initial draw, but her willingness to listen, hear, and understand what we were thinking and feeling is what made us know she was the perfect fit for us. Kelly is always honest, whether it was or was not what we wanted to hear; always hustling for us, going above and beyond whenever possible; always being a team player, keeping us and her team on the same page so there was always someone we could get ahold of and rely on to work on our behalf; all while being a positive, kind-hearted, respectful, well-spoken, and a highly-educated realtor. Kelly helped us sell our house in a few weeks, despite having severe storm damage from a darn hail storm. She also helped us through the 6 month process of building a new home, while continuing to check-in with us even months after closing on our new home to make sure things the builder promised to get done have been completed. Kelly is an exceptional realtor! We highly recommend Kelly Brown and her team; as they're as fabulous as their reputation says they are.
