Legal action has been taken against this company by multiple general contractors and private costumers as a result of incomplete work, abandoning projects, changing rates post contract etc! We were not the first to get this horrifying experience from this company. As other reviews and employers prove. The owner, is very confrontational in a very negative manner, aggressive even in some accounts being compared and conversed. We would highly recommend a different contractor.

When I called Brooks Bros Painting who was referred by another contractor, I was surprised when the owner answered the phone. I explained my fast track situation an he came over to the house within 2 hours, gave me an estimate and we discussed the scope of the project. His pricing was super reasonable and he accepted the challenges that the job had regarding staining, due to years of Smoking and the tight time frame I needed to get this completed. His painters were well mannered, a mother and son team, they were super. The interior came out very nicely and they even threw in some extras without charging me. Scott Brooks and Brooks Bros Painting got this job estimated and completed before I even got return phone calls from the other people I had called. Scott also assisted me in getting some cleaning girls for some general clean up I needed also, he even helped my thrift store haul away dude loading his truck with something too heavy for him to load by himself. Job was for…read morepainting the windows, doors, and eves of house initially, but also they went above and beyond for other minor repairs. His painting crew did a really good job. There was a fairly long standing issue I had with the original caulking around the windows that they pointed out, and did an amazing job of making the caulking look really good again. Given the way costs for this sort of work have gone crazy around Glenwood Springs, the final price for all the work seemed fair and reasonable - especially given the high quality of the work.
