The crew, though friendly, was ill prepared for the job at hand. They did not know what they were doing on my project. I have an old building, and their approach and methods did not adequately clean the building or properly remove as much old peeling paint as possible. The primer was applied too thinly with a sprayer and did not really seal the wood. The sprayed paint did not adequately cover all the surfaces. The finished paint job had visibly flaking paint underneath it. When I expressed concerns the crew leader (whom I had never met) came and explained that my expectations did not meet what they could offer for the price we had agreed upon. They packed up and left. Days passed and the owner did not reach out to me. I emailed photos and called them to arrange an appointment to meet at their office and convince them to come see the problems with the work. After personally viewing the job, they offered to send out a more experienced crew and adjust their methods for the remainder of the job, which I certainly appreciated. They also offered to let me have the paint and terminate the agreement and walk away. We are moving forward and I don't know yet what we will do. I understand people are always learning. I understand people have good days and bad days. However, this whole job could have and should have been done much better. Apparently this company can do a great job , depending upon what you need...and they are very busy. But they fell short with me job. And they left me hanging until I made the effort to resolve.

PNCI is the worst general contractor I have worked with in 28 years. They have an unobtainable…read moreschedule and then try to cut it down . They have no problem treating the subcontractors like it's their fault. Most of the higher ups are great, and I love the regular crew . But the one person in charge is the one that makes this job difficult due to the job being 2 months behind from the start. He needs to be relieved from the company and then maybe I'll continue to subcontract for PNCI.
