We had beavers in our lake. We thought they were cute and loved to watch them -- until we started seeing the trees fall down into the lake and we walked around and saw tons of damage due to the beavers. We had a hard time finding someone to help us with the beavers, but then we found Varmint Gitter! Tom and his son came out, assessed the situation, gave us great information about beavers and their habitats and trapping them etc. They handled the situation well and the price was reasonable. Tom and his son came out. They actually LISTENED to what I was telling them about the noises we were hearing in the attic, and helped us therefore figure out what animal it was. Then they walked the entire roof, checking for entry points. About 6 total entry points were closed up, including one that birds were taking advantage of that I didn't even realize was going on. The bill was very reasonable, as I had called and gotten estimates from some of the larger companies doing this work. Their rate structures were ridiculous and they were very quick to say "no guarantees" and "it could take a long time" and "we won't repair certain types of damage". Didn't get any of that run-around from Tom! Would highly recommend them for any animal problem! read more

Tom Raiber is a nice guy and he handles himself in a very professional manner. I had a raccoon who kept visiting our backyard. He returned my voice message the same day I contacted the company. He was on time for the appointment. He asked meaningfully questions, and he took time reviewing our backyard. He set 3 traps, and we got the raccoon the first night, and he removed the raccoon by noon that morning. I hope I don't need Tom again, but he is my go-to trapper. read more

One night my husband opened the door to a group of raccoons having a party in our backyard. The raccoons were tearing up our lawn. When he yelled to chase them away, they weren't afraid at all, in fact they actually came towards him. We knew we had to get rid of them soon. We called Tom and his son and they came out that day.
