So, I arrive for the scheduled appointment and the lady behind the counter tells me my appointment is for 2:40 PM. She told me that I received a text message telling me the appointment and time scheduled. She also said that another text message would be sent to my phone 1-hour before the scheduled 2:40 appointment None of the text messages happened except for the one on Thursday canceling my appointment. The Lady behind the desk did not tell me she would fit me in, try to resolve the time spent driving to the appointment or apologize for the mistake someone made. I waited another 30 minutes for Kendall (finance) to discuss upcoming cost and procedures. She was kind initially. I was referred to Orthodontics in Middletown for a root canal. They couldn't see me for a month. I proceeded to make an appt at my regular dentist. I requested my X-rays and was told I would have them via email prior to my app that day. Needless to say 9 days later and I still didn't get them. I called many times, got hung up on, told Kendall will call you back and she never returned my calls. I felt like once I decided to go elsewhere I was no longer a priority. Thanks to Dominic who handle my issue immediately after calling for 4 or 5 days to get someone on the phone. I would highly recommend either. I'm usually seen promptly, unless there's a staff meeting; which has only happened once during my most recent visit this month. My only negative comment is that I feel they overdo it with the appointment reminders. I'm retired so I'm not on office hours anymore and more often than not they'll call or text and wake me up. I've recently opted out of their text messages so we'll see how it goes before my next appointment. As I was exiting my most recent appointment I noticed they offer Cherry Dental Financing which I may look into since they advertise that you can make smaller monthly payments for dental work; which is great when you're on a fixed income and prices for basic necessities are skyrocketing, but your dental plan only covers a portion for a root canal. There's lots of free parking and the location is convenient. Try them, I think you'll like it!
