So I often use this vape shop as it's the closest to home and I don't drive due to health issues. I walked 2 miles to the store and got there 20 minutes before close and the employee told me he couldn't take cash because the drawer was counted already. So instead of locking the door at 9 and then starting his closing duties, he decided to close down early which in my personal opinion is very unprofessional. I work until it is time to close, then finish my duties to close up shop and then head home. What is wrong with kids these days. I think I will start ordering online. Sure I'm only one. Went here tonight not really knowing what exactly I wanted. I'm really bad with names and already forgot the dude who helped me, but I think it was Greg. Anyway, he was VERY knowledgeable and showed me so many different options for upgrading. Furthermore, I was very indecisive of what flavor of juice I wanted, and he pulled out anything and everything for me to try even with it being right before close! ("F" GRADE) CRAPPY EMPLOYEES (VERY RUDE, IRRESPONSIBLE AND DECEPTIVE), GREAT SELECTION OF HQ PRODUCTS, SUPER HIGH PRICES, REALLY NICE DOWN TO EARTH OWNER This was the first vape shop I visited when I moved back to the Saint Charles area(Fall 2017) I had lost my go to vape on my train ride from Denver to STL and needed a replacement the guys who worked there were somewhat friendly but also had some egos that were larger than themselves. The replacement Kangertech "Vape Pen" style mod (a entry level starter vape) was a little bit overpriced but it was an adequate replacement for what I had used to kick the smoking habit. In 2017 I tried their in-house made juice and it was by far the worst e-juice I've ever tried and after that I realized that it only cost about $1 to produce a bottle of juice that they would charge $20-30 for and it tastes much better, in fact I began selling my own e-juice after being so disappointed w/ the juice I bought there. ("to be fair" I haven't tried their in-house brand of juice since, they may have improved the quality, but the stuff I bought in 2017 was mostly PG was harsh didn't produce much of a cloud, and when I shook the bottle the solution was super thin like it must have been at least 70%PG possibly w water and there wasn't any flavor, I tried to immediately return it but was only offered another bottle of the same type of juice I still have that bottle to this day) Their shop wasn't as neatly organized in fall 2017 as it is now, but the people who are managing and working there are dicks, they have a new kid working there (I will call him"E" in this review) that's about half my age and it's like the kid is blind when a high school aged female walks into the shop he allows them to skip other customers in line and he sells products to them without ID, I've seen this happen nearly every time I visit the store which lately has been about every other day. The owner is a very friendly down to earth character, I like him and I don't feel like it's completely his fault that his employees are the way they are. Recently I picked up a part to go with my oil vape, lost it once I got back to my house, returned the next day to buy the same one, when I got back to my house (about a 5 min ride) I opened the package and the glass was cracked which wasn't visible in the packaging at the store. I immediately returned to the store and this kid made a bunch of excuses why he sold me a broken product and why he could not help resolve the problem. He told me I need to talk to his manager early in the morning. I found the 1st ceramic "ooze brand" globe for a 510 thread pen vape. My last visit early tonight will probably be my last as this kid who is about half my age had me waste my time pulling my ID out, after all the teenage girls without ID I've seen him sell to, after all the recent purchases I've made there and broken products he's sold me the guy had the nerve to make me pull my ID out of my wallet. I wouldn't have a problem with this if I or any other customer looked to be under 30yrs old. I have an account there,( which their point"reward" system doesn't ever add up to anything) and this guy has added point to my account many times in the last two weeks. I think from now on I will shop elsewhere most likely online, I would not recommend this place of business to ANYONE, not until they start treating people with the respect a patron of their business deserves. CONS: -Sells broken products to customers -Sells to teenage kids without ID (females, or if a young man brings a female with him and has her do the talking while "E" is working he sells to them without ID) who look to be underage and IDs full matured adults -Employees w/ "Holier-than-thou" (Self-righteousness) attitude (NOT humble) -Point system doesn't ever add up to anything just a ploy to get your phone number in their system. -Employees don't wear any masks or show much respect or concern of spreading the current COVID outbreak to customers PROS -They have an excellent stock of HQ products to choose from *Great brands of HQ juice *Great selection of HQ brands of vape devices "Mods" - Clean store, very nice, neat and organized - The owner is a very nice guy who is down to earth and knows how to treat customers and run a good business - Their store is located in a very good location It seem like most of their sales are disposable "Juul style" salt nic vapes (Puff Bars) which seem like a very bad idea for the world as they create a ton of waste, I've seen so much trash on or around the roadway leaving the store heading back home (so much packaging, plastic and a batteries just for a once use vape) people out west aren't using plastic disposable straws anymore, yet people herein the Mid-west are sucking on these throw away, disposable vapes? I can just imagine how many of these will make their way into the ocean and into our food. Might as well just smoke cigarettes there's less waste and environmental impact. read more
