More importantly, they appear to follow strict protocol for sanitation. The guys working here are great at reminding me to use MY mouthpiece and NOT touch theirs. They have a very clean store, in both appearance and germs. I appreciate that, not all stores do this. There's always room to hang out or lounge, if that's your thing. Yesterday, I pulled up to get some supplies. As I was walking in, I recognized some people from the store, outside assisting an elderly lady. It seemed like the situation was well under control, but I quickly realized the "situation" had just happened. The lady had just taken a nasty fall, after driving herself there to mail a letter. She was very shaken and confused and bleeding quite a bit. I think there were about 7 people there, assisting. The people working at Altsmoke did an impressive job of handling the situation. Any single one of them was of more help than the three other women standing there when I arrived. The team assisted her into the store, it was 14 degrees. They tended to her bleeding head injury, while the women watched. They did not abandon the store, a manager was on the phone with medics and inside the store. He was advising the helpers of what to do. One woman ran off to find gloves, which is important in preventing the spread of illness and disease. However, the blood was flowing and the woman (90+ I'm guessing) needed help right then and these guys were helping. They weren't talking about helping, they weren't interrogating the woman, they weren't running away to find help or supplies...They were doing everything reasonably possible, right at that moment, to help this sweet lady. I called 3X because the unit was leaking...I went IN to the store time and again, each time the mod was taken apart, wiped down and returned to me...(THAT was Advanced Vapor's 'fix')! After growing tired of the leaky, mess of a product I was sold... I came in looking to…read morespend a specific amount of money, and the staff, instead of trying to upsell me or steer me away from sticking to my budget, called the owner of the store and offered me a product that the owner discounted specifically for me and my budget. The staff were kind, and professional; I really felt like they cared about me. Elizabeth, one of the sales staff, treated me as if she and I had been best friends for centuries. She welcomed me into the store with such warmness and kindness. Her cooworker was very friendly with other customers and obviously really cared about meeting their specific needs as well. They followed FDA guidelines strictly, which seemed to be a specific concern for their business operation. I can appreciate and respect that they care enough about their business to protect it by strictly following FDA protocol. Long story short, late January…read more2014 I had a problem with the Spring Air mattress, so I called Water Beds at the East store and spoke with the manger of the store on how to go about this. I immediately received a call from Mark, (The General Manager) on how he would handle the warranty & said give me 24-hours, he called the very next day. Spring Air would not warranty their mattress. When he found out about what was going, he promised me, he would make things right. Well he did, (now keep in mind, I understand WNS can't just give me a free mattress 7 years later but just short of that) not only did he go above and beyond any of my expectations, I am a 100% satisfied customer but more importantly, a customer for life. Big thanks to everyone at Water Beds N Stuff that made this unfortunate situation of mine right!!! This company stands behind their customers & products even years later after the sale, that's how good they are.
