Cute walkable spot in the heat of city center. Maria greeted me with a warm smile and explained to me how the system worked (3 times since I was confused lol). She gave me a card and after viewing the English version of the menu and knowing what I wanted to order, o took the card to the kitchen and placed my order with the chef, Pascal, where he then cooked my food on the spot. He put the order on the card and I went to the bar to order a drink with Toben. Given handed me a mojito that he made specifically for me based on my requests and Pascale brought me my finished meal. The service was great and the salmon pasta with added prawn was mouthwatering. The drink was string, as I requested, but you couldn't tell by taste as it tasted light and refreshing. It's pretty good but so salty ! I always feel better before than after eating. The products are fresh. It's a bit too expensive for a self service restaurant ! read more

By far the worst Italian food I have had so far. They seem to be least interested to cook. The sauces are prepared and the pasta is just tossed and given to you. It does not even acquire the taste of the sauce, pasta was not cooked well. Just a fancy place with real bad food. read more

No star for Vapiano. A big fail in service and management. I recently have been there, ordered a vegetarian dish and got served that dish plus shellfish inside. I have a life-threatening shellfish allergy. I started to eat, was halfway through my dish and discovered the shellfish in there. We informed the staff, but no response. They just took my dish back to the kitchen. I walked to the pharmacy close by to get emergency epipen, which was not possible. I went back to Vapiano and sat there to see if I would get an anaphylactic shock (emergency number in my hand). After 10 min, the manager showed up and told with a bright smile that "Versagen ist menschlich", did not ask me how I was feeling. He said that he would take care of the costs for the food and said sorry, while I was waiting if I would need to go to hospital or not. The cook did not apologize. Fazit: DO NOT GO THERE. read more

Abiance a little odd as the layout of the restaurant is this deep cavern with multicolored seatingbut then again I'm quite sensitive to ill concieved patterns. Everyone ordered their own pizzas that given the crust thickness you could definitely handle on on your own if you are really hungry. The house salad was a plus as well - no yogurt dressing here ladies & gents! Saw everything from the Gnocci to the Tiramisu at the 20 person table with no complaints. Good place for large groups.

Einfach immer wieder gut, man weiß einfach immer was man dran hat, hier beeindruckte die entspannte kompetente und extremst freundliche "Pasta-Bedienung" Einen Tip, macht eure Pasta-Portionen etwas kleiner, dann hätte man noch Platz für eine Nachspeise, so klappt das meistens leider nicht Im Gegensatz zur Ursprungsversion werde ich leider nach einigen weiteren Besuchen einen Stern wieder weg nehmen, zuviel ging bei den letzten Besuchen nennen wir es "daneben", mal waren die Nudeln nicht richtig durch oder es fehle im Carbonara das Ei, oder der Xtra Spinat, welcher aber berechnet wurde....das schmälert denn eigentlich so guten Eindruck. Aber was ich eindeutig bei jedem Besuch hervorheben möchte ist der Service! Immer freundlich, ja es ist antrainiert, aber als Gast ist es einem lieber freundlich antrainiert als motzig und natürlich. read more

In diesem zeitgemäßen modernen Restaurant habe ich gestern einen tollen Salat mit Thunfisch und Ei gegessen. Die Zubereitung in der Showküche ( sehr sauber) hat nur wenige Minuten gedauert. Die Portion war knackig frisch und groß genug, um davon satt zu werden. Wer möchte, bekommt superfrisches Brot dazu. Mein Freund hatte eine Pizza mit leckerem Schinken und Feigen und einem knusprigen dünnen Teig (viele Extrawünsche zum Belag sind möglich). Danach holten wir uns noch ein Glas Wein von der Bar. Eine freundliche Servicemitarbeiterin trug das Geschirr ab und fragte uns, ob alles zu unserer Zufriedenheit sei. Da alles, was man bestellt/verzehrt auf eine Karte gebucht wird und am Ausgang bezahlt wird, spart man sich das Warten auf den Kellner mit der Rechnung. read more

Ich gehe oft mittags in dieses Restaurant. Da weiß ich , dass es schnell geht und meine Mittagspause reicht für ein ganz leckeres Gericht. Frische hausgemachte Pasta oder einen Salat direkt vor meinen Augen zubereitet und dabei ein Small-Talk mit dem Koch. Ich probiere gern mal was Neues und wähle deshalb meist ein Special-Gericht, welche alle 2 Monate wechseln. Das Personal ist immer freundlich. Das Restaurant ist stets sehr sauber, auch die Toiletten. read more

Ich hab selten mal so gut gegessen in Rostock wie letzte Woche im Vapiano am Neuen Markt. Das System ist wohl bekannt. Das Ambiente war lebendig und cool, also nichts für ein Date aber sehr angenehm. Der Service war locker und dezent. Niemand der mich am Platz mehrmals stört. Ich hatte eine sehr gute Pizza Bruscetta mit vom Pizzabäcker empfohlenem Parmaschinken. Leicht, dünn und knusprig. Sehr nettes kleines Vapiano! Das Konzept/ Essen sollte ja mittlerweile jedem bekannt sein! Nette Pizza, Pasta & Salate! Ungewöhnlich für dieses Vapiano, es ist wirklich nur sehr klein im Vergleich zu den anderen bundesweit verstreuten Restaurants! read more

Ich find das Essen echt ganz gut. Ich bin auch immer mal wieder hier. Der Preis könnte aber etwas nach unten gehen, wird er aber natürlich niemals. Die Location ist ganz nett gestaltet. read more
