Absolutely terrible service. I've never been to a business where an employee was so uninformed about their own products.
I quit cigarettes a week ago and was genuinely looking forward to spending money here. Yesterday, I came in and told the employee that I had just quit smoking and was looking for a tobacco-flavored vape juice. I asked about four different options, and every time her response was basically, "I don't know, this is just what people buy."
Okay--disappointing, but fine. I picked one anyway, and it was a huge mistake. It literally tasted like detergent.
I came back the next day (tonight), and it was the same woman working. I politely asked if there was anything they could do. Before I could even finish my sentence, she cut me off and said no. I expected that answer, so no issue there. I then asked if she had any recommendations--and she pointed to the same exact juice I bought the night before that tasted like laundry soap. Apparently she didn't remember.
I asked if there was anyone there who knew more about the tobacco flavors, and she replied, "Well, all the employees vape, but it's not like we try everything." Seriously? I'm not asking about some exotic flavor--I'm asking about tobacco, one of the most common options.
I understand not knowing everything, but getting defensive and gaslighting a customer who's simply asking questions is unacceptable. She then just stared at me while I was scanning the wall, clearly unsure what to do next, and I didn't want to waste more money guessing.
So I took my business elsewhere. Hopefully somewhere that's actually interested in helping an ex-smoker succeed. read more
