So me and my girlfriend have been in this shop before and there's a white man who made us extremely uncomfortable; we avoid going in here when he is there. However, we went in about two days ago and I purchased two vapes. While checking out the white man was being extremely inappropriate and unprofessional, commenting on the conversation that my girlfriend and I were having. By the time I was done paying, we were slowing trying to walk out the door and leave but his behavior continued and my girlfriend shut down the conversation. The employee did not give me a receipt, did not tell me about the return policy (or lack thereof), and did not encourage me to try the vape in the store. We left and went home, and about an hour later the vape just stopped working and the shop was already closed. The next morning, I went back and waited on them to open at 10AM. When it was time for them to open, nothing. I looked in the door, nobody was there and the lights were off. I called: no answer. I ended up going back home and coming back 15 minutes later and they were open. At this point, I just wanted a replacement or refund. I had a terrible experience when buying the product and using the product. I went to the counter, and a young lady was working. I told her about my experience (it way more detail than I have provided here) and she said there was nothing she could do and once I left with the product, there was no making it right. She also said that they get complaints of the white man all the time. I let her know that even if I did try it in the store, it worked the first hour that I had it and that it still would have been defective. I was very very kind, and reassured the cashier that it was not her fault but that I would like to talk to the owner. She called the owner and told him there was a customer that wanted to speak to him "for some reason". So off the bat, not a good start. But I explained everything to the owner and he stated that I should have tried it in the store and that despite my experience he wasn't going to make it right. I asked him what I could have done differently to not have a defective vape...he just repeated the policy. He stated that he could give me 50% off on my next vape...but he can't even be sure that one is going to work properly after an hour. I let him know that if he wasn't going to make it right, that there would not be a next purchase. He said he still wasn't going to make it right and I calmly and kindly hung up the phone and left the store. I wish I would have read the reviews before shopping, because I would have saved myself a lot of time, money, and frustration. There are countless reviews of the white man being inappropriate and creepy and the owner being rude, and countless reviews of people getting scammed out of vapes. Please don't give this business your money!!

I tried to return them and the older man told me that it is not his problem and to contact Zig Zag for resolution. I left it alone, and thought about not visiting the shop again. But silly me went again. On another instance, as I asked for cigar wraps, the older man asked me "What do you do all day? sit at home". Being decent, I responded that I work for the government and keep a low profile (meaning mind your business). He also said he cant see my face, since it was masked as it should be. Still don't know why he mentioned that. I kindly told him that maybe he will see me again. This man responded by telling me that I talk too much. I told him that he asks too many questions. People, I am a dark-skinned woman who wears joggers to the store, but I can assure you that I am in no way presentable in a fashion that warrants this man's conversation or style.
