I don't think I will ever go back to these stores. The one on 104 street has a young guy working there that uses the F bomb so much it offended me and I use that word on occasion, however not in general public. And I definitely don't think an employee should be using it WAY TOO OFTEN with other customers in the store. I also witnessed someone actually leave because of it. I also witnessed him serving an obvious under age minor. This is going to hurt the vape community. I also know that they adjust nicotine levels in the e-juice that I heard one customer say they would never let them do that to there juice because he had it done once and when he got home he noticed there was stuff floating in his $30 bottle of juice. While I was there and heard this stuff and witnessed things, I thought I would stick around a little while. Sure enough, someone asked for some e-juice to be bumped up from 3mg to a 6mg. I followed behind casually. I noticed the guy go into the side office which was a pig pen, picked up a syringe from a dark brown (obviously soaked in old nicotine) put it in an already opened bottle of nicotine and used it to put that nicotine in the customers bottle of e-juice. YUCK!
Hey, don't bash me. I am stating this because you all need to be aware. Between the horrible language in front of all customers, the filth in the back room and have a customer state that he would never have nicotine added to his stuff ever again and then me checking for myself, first hand. OMG!
We need to protect our right to vape, test and sample. Why would this place give the government a reason to stop this.
Also, I have visited the store on Stony Plain Road. While I was there (about an hour just to observe) I witnessed 1 minor get served. I also witnessed a customer ask to have their nicotine get bumped up from a 0mg to 3mg nicotine. I asked if I could use the washroom to the guy going back to adjust the nicotine. I kind of took my time following because I really wanted to see first hand the procedure. Well, although the room was not as dirty as the other store, it was a mess. Again, (I swear) the guy walked up to the jug of nicotine, cap was already off the bottle, the syringe was on dark nicotine soaked paper towel and dipped that same syringe into the jug. I continued to walk into the washroom. When I came out, I looked over at the jug of nicotine, the cap was still off the bottle and the syringe was sitting on top of that dark nicotine soaked paper towel. Sorry people, this is not acceptable.
I know this for sure..........If I ever go into another vape shop and need to have my nicotine bumped up, I am going to ask if I can follow to see the procedure. However, my real purpose is to see the cleanliness of the adjustment area and I will probably even ask to look inside the bottle for dirt or anything else floating in the nicotine.
I think people need to start speaking up. It is this kind of stuff that will ruin it for everyone. read more
