I don't recall ever leaving a negative review in my life and I've left many reviews. From the second me and my kids walked into the store I could feel we were not welcome. I understand that walking in 10-15 minutes before a store closes isn't ideal, but it does happen. We had just bought a home in the neighborhood and our closing got set back so all our stuff was stuck in our Pod and my kids needed a pair of shoes. We were in a rush which was obvious and the girl at the front with glasses said, "Um, just so you're aware we close in about 10 minutes." It's wasn't just what she said, it was how she said it. Not once did she ask if we needed any help, which would have been helpful due to us being in a rush not wanting to keep anyone at the store longer than needed. She came up to us a minute before closing, looked at her watch and repeated, guys were closing in a minute. When we checked out, she was full of dirty looks and attitude. I'm leaving three stars for the quality of shoes and for the young man that asked us if he could help my son twice when he saw my child not being able to find his size. One of my kids didn't even end up getting shoes because she made him too nervous and he just wanted to leave. So with that said we didn't end up getting the two extra pairs we would have let him get if we weren't rushed out. We love Vans but I've been in retail and I know the customer always comes first and I can say I've waited for families to leave happy before rushing them out the way we were. read more
