Take your deer meat here at your own risk . I took 28 lbs of deboned meat for sausage . When I picked it up , ticket showed it was 30 lbs . And it showed they made 60 lbs of sausage . When I weighed it at home it was 52 lbs . I called them and told them about it and they were defensive. And did not make it right . Spread the word ,they are not honest ! And if your desperate enough to take your meat there ,at least weigh it when you get home . read more

Great place for the avid outdoorsman. Great variety of sporting goods, guns, ammo, fishing poles, bow and arrows etc. I went in recently and the staff took care of me and was very knowledgeable on what they had and what I needed. I was impressed at the size of the place and the amount of stock they had. On par with and in some cases exceeding the big box stores that I normally would visit. I have had a lot of deer sausage in my day, but none better than this place. I just moved to area from Laurel so I had to try a new place and I gave this place a shot. I got the pineapple and pepper jack sausage. It was loaded with cheesy goodness and had a great flavor. Give this place a shot and take a look at their store while you are there too. Customer service isn't great. On multiple occasions I've stood in front of the gun counter for several, several minutes before anyone asked me if I needed help. If you don't look like you're ready to spend a couple of grand you won't get much help. One of the times I actually got service I was interested in a firearm that they had for sale. I discussed with the salesman that I had seen the firearm cheaper at another store and wondered if he would price match. Instead of matching the price and potentially gaining a lifelong customer he was quick to tell me that they don't have to match prices because they offer many guns that most places don't. This experience, along with the other bad ones I've had there make it where I don't shop there unless I absolutely have no other option. They need to send their employees to training on how to be polite and helpful to customers. That or hire different people, at least to stand behind the gun counter. read more

Took a whole deer and asked for all steak and trimmings in sausage. i got back 8 pounds of steak including 2 packages of tenderloin steak (less than 2 lbs of tenderloin steak out of two back straps??) and 60lbs of sausage. talked to the manager and they tried to explain this is normal and that i could leave the sausage if i wanted. looks like they are in it for the large profit game since sausage pays a lot more. Turns out this has happened to more than one other person i know. Will not be back. read more
