Seriously, the best macarons I've ever had. I was never a fan of them before until I've tried them from here. The flavor and the sweetness are perfect. The colors and presentation are beautifully made as well. I love the first bite of each macaron. It has a nice light smooth crust and so full of flavor. It is really hard to decide which one I want to bite into first. I ended up taking a bite of each macaron before I knew which one I wanted to finish. Also, this gave my husband and daughter a chance to also try each one before they decided which one they wanted more of too. There are so many options of different flavored macarons! It's really hard to pick a few. I love their cute packaging too, it would make a special gift. The next time I have a party I will be sure to order some for my dessert table. I know my guest will be impressed!! Customer service is excellent! They are really nice and attentive. I will be sure to come back to try their other items on their menu. But for now, I'm coming back for their macarons!!

Honestly, this business would do itself a favor by adding savory to its name. Sweets do nothing for me and if it hadn't been for the pictures of the sandwiches, I'd NEVER have stopped in. The staff is super friendly and informative. The location is ideal and I would have no problem eating here at the right time or out in front without any concern about being infected with Covid. It's a pleasant location with tables and chairs out front surrounded in a newer complex with beautiful palm trees... I ate both the sausage muffin sandwich and the Italian sandwich, back to back. ...blueberries later! The sandwiches were superbly executed. Absolutely delicious and worth every penny. The breads were perfectly toasted and high-quality as were each of the ingredients. I don't believe I can get these elsewhere in Fresno and that makes it more interesting for me.. I'd get going focusing on the SAVORY side of this potential and not putting all my eggs in one basket. Change the name to sweets and savory's... or better yet SAVORY and sweets! Cast that net widely and draw in the other side of the spectrum... My only minor complaint is that they did not put additional onions on each of the sandwiches as requested. This is a simple and important component to the things I order. Without question there's an opportunity there to enhance the experience. And because I'd emphasized this and not received it, I took a star off the review. Sadly, I've been eating many years and know what I like! When I say 'onions' I expect ONIONS... people often change specifications and sandwiches so you need to nail the simple requests and your system not fall apart when they do. The sandwiches were delicious and I'm glad I double dipped it taking advantage of the '2 for 1 special.' That's right. I ordered two and ate them both myself! 2 for ONE!! Lol -G

Delightful little place for lunch, situated in the shopping center on the southwest corner of Palm and Nees, entrance on Palm. Vanntastic shares the space with a wine bar that opens in the late afternoon. Sandwiches and sweet desserts are on the menu, both of which I would highly recommend. The breads and pastries used in these are superb. The bakery/cafe is well known for its macarons, but I cannot speak for those as I'm not a fan of that particular treat. I know many others can speak well for the product. The barista can make a good cappuccino, too. Service is very good, very personable. You can eat in or take out. There are widely spaced high-top tables and a bar at which to sit.

Vanntastic sweets did some awesome paninis and macaroons for my husbands party and it was wonderfully presented. So many different flavors of macaroons.

Definitely the best macarons I've had! They had a nice, delicate crust, and the macaron itself had a very subtle chew, but was very soft and melted in your mouth. The buttercream fillings were smooth and delightful. The flavors were intense and delicious. I bought half a dozen, and picked creme brulee, pistachio, ferrero rocher, red velvet, birthday cake, and strawberry cheesecake. When I think of how a well-made macaron should be, these meet that standard. I've had other macarons at popular shops, and they tend to be on the dryer, harder, chalky side; but these are a completely different experience. If you didn't like macarons before, these are worth giving a try, because they will change your perceptions of what macarons are. And if you've already had really good macarons, then these will no doubt meet your expectations. The only caveat is that these tend to be on the sweet side, which is great if you love sweets, but I prefer slightly less sweet, although I'm also someone who drinks coffee black, so take my preference with a grain of salt! That said, I will definitely be going to get more. I gave my friend some the day after, and he said they were phenomenal. I also plan to buy some to send to family members this holiday season!

Loved the prucciotto egg sandwich! And the macaroons were delicious!! The different flavors that they have are so playful in each bite! I didn't get to take a picture of the coffee macaroons but they were yummy!! Definitely great for party catering to wow your freinds and family !!

Had an amazing breakfast sandwich this morning. Today I tried the Sausage Egg Muffin. It was very tasty, consisting of a fresh English muffin, fried egg, cheese, lettuce, tomato and a bit of a (secret?!) sauce. The egg was fried perfectly and the sausage was mild and flavorful. I had a hot matcha tea to drink and appreciated the double cup, as it was HOT! Both employees I interacted with today were super nice and friendly. On my first visit, I had decided that the Prosciutto and Egg Muffin would be my forever favorite. Now both sandwiches are in the First Place slot. I'm already thinking about what sandwich I'm going to try on my next visit. There are currently six to choose from. Vanntastic Sweets is located in the same complex as Gb3 at Palm and Nees. They're inside Beyond the Wine, which doesn't open until late afternoon. You can partake of the sandwiches, macarons & pastries and coffee etc. from 730AM - 2PM M -F and from 10AM - 2PM on Sat and Sun. Want to treat your tastebuds?! Give Vanntastic Sweets a try!

From the top, crème brûlée, fruity pebbles, and birthday cake macaron. Raspberry lychee cake up on the side!

It has got to the point of us waiting for the next month's flavors. This review is long overdue, but Nummy Yummy deserves high praise and recognition for is deliverance to excellent and tasty dessert for the Fresno community. We went here again just a few days ago and it still hits the spot. The menu typically rotates ice cream flavor every month. Not only ice cream, but they also have warm taiyaki! This place reminds me of SomiSomi chain, but to be honest, I think Nummy Yummy is better. All of the staff here are super nice, patient, and always willing to answer your questions. I've come here a lot and have yet to come across a grumpy staff member (haha). The location is in the corner of the RN Market plaza. There is plenty of parking, but I wish they hadn't taken away the indoor seating. There is nowhere to dine in and sit other than the dirty bench outside. I see the majority of people just eating in their car. I hope they decide to offer more flavors and toppings. The various Asian flavors are a hit, and a suggestion box from the public could be an idea. Also, not sure if the eye is playing tricks, but seems like their new cups provide a smaller portion than the old cups. Hopefully that is not the case.

So I looked for a local dessert place (by picture from other Yelpers) and I was in the mood for ice cream or fro-yo. I didn't realize that this place is very similar to the Somi Somi franchise; but still gave it a shot. Inside is very small and plain = NO SITTING so it is literally take-out. Ordering is simple and the cashier was friendly. I wished the fro-yo portions matched what customers received in the past, and there was no option to order small, medium or large. The flavors: pistachio not overly sweet was perfect for my wife. I ordered the half chocolate half brown sugar and only could taste chocolate so I was disappointed . Also their "fish" cone had a salty aftertaste. Overall, it's not an experience I would even give a 2nd try.

We were in town the morning after seeing the Firefail. Finally success on the third visit attempt. Amongst other shops on the desolate street stood an unremarkable window front where the repeat button has remained on since the 60s. Within was an eclectic mix of Japanese American household fixtures and Americana. Rustic. Nothing like Benkyodo's proper shelf presentation - or a hamburga stand. Some Japanese goods were on offer, but you come here for something sweet. We got a couple of mochi and manju, traditional red bean flavors, because that's all that was left. Their manju, seeming to have a different "batter" and "panini"-grilled, had a crumbly texture. The mochi though... Have you seen that viral video of that slapping mochi shop in Nara? What about people enjoying it? How soft it was, leaving a vegan cheese pull with every bite? This was by far the softest mochi I've ever had, and I thoroughly enjoyed the soy dusted yomogi. The bigger size of the mochi also accentuated the softness of the mochi. The matcha, also green, had a distincting different flavor, just so you know that the shop wasn't cheating. My partner in crime loved the lima bean mochi. The red bean filling tasted homemade, good flavor but not too sweet - the best compliment you can give an Asian in a world that remains overrun by pollo ala naranja. We are proud* that such a heritage perseveres on, especially in a part of town that's honestly become quite desecrated of life. Call ahead to see if the shop is open, and try to come early. The shop is a one woman show, and if my first two visits say anything, this lady enjoys having a life. And yes, she does sell out. She was nearly sold out when we visited. And try to enjoy the mochi ASAP. The mochi will last in the fridge. The texture will not. If you come at the right time of the year, the shop will have mochi in different fruit and pie flavors, and even ice cream mochi. *OK, "I'm proud of you" might be a bigger compliment to an Asian. And yes, there's Fugetsu in LA, but I haven't been. Though if you need a reason to visit the Fresno, you can always take the 99 traveling between SoCal and NorCal... Just need to be early if much is desired. If you're interested in AYCEat mochi, staying healthy, working out for free, and have an eye for the art of making mochi, may I suggest asking the owner for an apprenticeship? The flavor intensity here is no joke. When you order one of their more adventurous combinations, expect it to make a strong impression. Because the flavors are so concentrated, I find their small size more than sufficient. My go to flavor is always the Honeycomb. The ice cream base is exceptionally creamy and every scoop is packed with mix-ins rather than having them clustered in a few bites. Ampersand excels at rich, dairy forward flavors and the ingredients always seem thoroughly infused into the base. Some of my other favorites include Madagascar Vanilla, Whiskey Caramel Swirl, and seasonal offerings like Egg Nog and Vanilla Rum Raisin. That said, I have found the sorbets and heavily spiced flavors to be less successful. Options such as the Thai Tea and Chai Tea occasionally had a grittier texture, with noticeable remnants of tea leaves lingering in both the mouthfeel and finish. The vegan flavors were similarly bold and flavorful, but their texture was not quite as smooth or enjoyable as the traditional dairy based options. The staff is always friendly and generous with samples, making it easy to explore the menu before committing. While there are plenty of excellent choices, I remain in the camp that Honeycomb is the flavor to beat.
