(Shortly after she contacted…read moreme several times for dates on Match.com) When her behavior, actions, demeanor miserably failed to align with her fawning 5-star reviews, I wrote a truthful review on yelp.com about my experience, as a good community member should and is a first amendment right. (Hassle does not know about the 1st amendment, or does not respect it, maybe both?) The benign review didn't even near touch on most of the nefarious things she actually did. Yet, since then she has embarked on a vicious, non-stop bullying, harassment, libel and defamation lawfare campaign against me. She has had me followed, watched, tracked, spied on. She co-authored hit pieces on me on mainstream media channels. I had never been treated so barbarically by anyone & explained the basics her egregious actions in a run of the mill review. This goes all the way back to 2013! Since then, she has engaged in psychotic lawfare against me and has tried to ruin my life. Originally, Dawn Hassell contacted me & messaged several times unsolicited on Match.com just before my accident. She manipulated me into meeting her for poetry help and was in touch off of the Match.com platform. Since she had only glowing 5-star reviews, kept contacting me, I thought she could be trusted to with a sudden, unexpected injury situation. After all, her Match profile showed an attorney with stellar reviews. She acted as if she cared & I believed she would help. When it came time to finally meet in her office, days after the accident, to assess the broken bones, injuries, etc., she did not show up to the meeting in her office in San Francisco. (she never offered to come to my location to help me, either) Instead, she had the receptionist, a college type youth, do the intake forms. After signing the paperwork with her office, I was given no instructions and received no medical assistance, guidance, referrals or help from the young man or herself. Weeks and Months went by as I waited for her to help me after this life altering and dangerous accident and injuries. she dumped me and the case, after never having met or evaluated me, never giving proper professional guidance or much needed help from the accident. She was derelict. I was appalled, in disbelief and also disabled. She let me sit and rot in pain, blood, and fracture forever. She never did anything to help me with my accident, but instead, did the above to me. At one point, she had the Wikipedia page threatening my arrest and to put me in jail, for that review. (it's still up there) Yes, she did. This is who this person is. (she had to have it removed, fearing being sued for breaking the law& constitution) LOL! I did not know at the time, as I had been in a brutal accident and wasn't thinking clearly with a head injury & pain, injuries felt to this day, that 5-star ratings can be faked. So, as a community service, out of social obligation, I shared my disappointing, cruel experience with the yelp community, hoping to protect others. She raged, threatened, sued me, and got away with it based on complete bs & fraud, and then also tried to sue yelp.com. LOL! She lost the case of course & has tried relentlessly, spent untold amounts of money to keep fighting it. Yelp and their attorneys never thought the review was libelous or defamatory and thus left it up. She deservedly received a review based on her efforts, professionalism, and performance and there was never anything defamatory or libelous and the facts were even toned down. That was obvious to everyone. Dawn Hassell tried cover up her egregious actions, in any way that she could, but she isn't a good attorney anyway, so she never succeeded. 5-star reviews are bought. She does not even know law basics. She does not know about the 1st Amendment & attempted and publicized putting me in jail, over that little review! She violated the constitution/ law by threatening to arrest me and prevent me from talking about her. LOL! She doesn't even know about American law yet lists herself as a 5-star super lawyer! LOL! Aren't lawyers supposed to know about and honor laws? & the constitution? This has been confusing.
