Prices were good, and the trees were nicely shaped. I didn't see many 8 ft+ trees, but there was a great selection for up to 7 ft. The grounds were a little muddy, and the trees were on a hill, but the trees were all planted in neat rows that made it easy to walk around and eye the trees from every angle. Once we picked our tree, we flagged down someone with a chainsaw, and they cut it down for us. The farm has a shaker and baler as well, and once our tree was prepped, it was loaded into our truck for us. It looked like the place was cash only, but there was a sign stating that they took checks as well.

The location is easy to get to but be careful because the road you turn on to get to their farm is kind of small. There is a sign that says it's coming up 500 ft away so you do get alerted! Once you park on their driveway, walk up to their farm and pick your tree amongst the rows and rows of beautiful Noble or Douglas Firs which are either $30 or $40. Once you choose the one you want to take home, flag someone down by waving your hands in the air and they'll come your way with a chainsaw and cut it down for you and also tie it to your car. We walked around the store & got to chat with the employees & ask them a bunch of questions. After walking around the store we headed out back to check out the pumpkins, vegetables and flowers. We had the whole place to ourselves. My sister also went through their corn maze. There's a beautiful view of Mt. Hood from the back of the farm. At the start of this review I said this was my favorite of all farms, part of the reason is because they had the most variety of pumpkins & each & every pumpkin was beautiful!!! When we drove past the farm the following day, (Saturday, October 15th) the place was packed for their Farm Day. There were tractor hat rides, a petting zoo, & a taco truck in the parking lot. Unlike other farm there is no admission fee at this farm for families to visit and enjoy a day at the farm.

They have a great selection of trees, and prices are reasonable but not low. We found a beautiful noble fir for $80 and they shook and bailed for an extra $2. I think it's maybe just over 7 feet? My kids were a bit disappointed for no tractor ride. They have saws for you-cut, but were also willing to help with a chain saw. Tiny little store, with trinkets, crafts, snacks, tree fertilizer. Nothing I had to have. It's run by a gang of children, and wasn't terribly efficient. I had to ask for my change several times. I love that it's a family farm, so definitely getting kids involved is great... they just need some defined roles. (Teacher here)

I literally have to bring nothing but my vision for the perfect tree. It's been so helpful for me since I don't own a saw or know what to do with one. My kids love the cute barn where there is free candy canes and hot chocolate. They take debit card which is always a perk. This place has become a family tradition.

We were sitting in an area directly in line with other people who were already seated nearby. An employee approached us and told us that we were blocking the walkway. I was genuinely confused and simply asked for clarification because there were no signs indicating that we could not sit on the opposite side of the flags, nor did we see anything indicating that the area was designated for handicap seating. Instead of calmly explaining the situation, the employee was incredibly rude and condescending. What bothered me most was her repeatedly suggesting that I "must be having a bad day" and essentially dismissing my questions as me being upset or having an attitude. I was actually having a great day -- I was simply trying to understand why where we were sitting was considered a problem when people were seated directly across from us. What's she's upset about is that I'm challenging her. Everything at the farm was VERY chaotic and I work in customer service and understand and do not blame her for being so upset and rude but I'm simply just trying to ask a question. I have absolutely no issue following rules or moving when asked. The issue was the way we were spoken to. There was no reason for a simple question to turn into an employee making assumptions about my mood and speaking down to me. If an area needs to remain clear or is specifically intended for handicap accessibility, there should be clear signage so guests know that. And if someone genuinely doesn't understand a rule, employees should be able to explain it respectfully without being condescending or making personal comments. Unfortunately, what should have been a fun night at the pumpkin patch was really soured by this interaction. But I would like to thank the owner Ericka (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) she was nice.

I took my kids for a visit to frog pond farm. They have a plethora of animals for you to visit…read more You can buy feed cups for $5 at the admissions office. Their fall festival, including the pumpkin patch, was not running yet and I felt some of the farm was a little limited because of that. They ran out of apple cider donuts for purchase and parts of the farm had a closed sign on it. That being said, there was still plenty of animals to visit, including two camels!, bounce houses for kids, outdoor games, and general farm vibes. Next time I would pack a picnic lunch as the only options available were lemonade and donuts until they were sold out on site. Staff was friendly and the animals looked well cared for. Perfect spot for a weekend farm day activity. I was surprised how much fun my kids had and look forward to visiting again when I can walk more of the farm.

I went in their cute little shop to see if I could find a manager, and I did see a man that had the air of being a manager, but I couldn't bring myself to pull him aside in front of everyone else having a good time, and say that I've been lied to and I didn't appreciate wasting three hours of my precious weekend.
