Wish I would have walked out then. They were very anxious to get my retainer fund started. They bill by the tenth of an hour, but on every invoice I received, there was no time documented, just a significant chunk of my retained funds deducted. Billed $1000 for a "Notice of Default" form letter they prepared that included incorrect statements that I had to correct. Made the required edits to their document in about 10 minutes and waited 2 weeks for them to make my edits to the letter. Another $190+ billed for that "work". Should have checked with the BBB first, numerous client complaints with the common theme of overcharging for incompetence.
