    Construction sounds

Beautiful beach and a great parking area where you can park in the shade. It's a little bit small compared to other we have been to. Unfortunately during our trip there was construction going on at a high rise behind the us and it was very loud on the beach. Definitely detracted from the relaxing feel I would expect on vacation.

Busy but nice beach in North Naples. Get there on the early side to score parking in the parking garage (the website shows how many spots are open). $10 or free with a pass. Beach is short to the gulf and people park their spots all around you, but the water is beautiful and the shells are great!

This beach is a really nice beach if you enjoy walking along the shore. We decided to walk the shoreline for miles until we reached another beach, and then a park. We saw some dolphins close to the shore as well. We found tons of awesome shells along the shore. The beach was really full with people sitting across the left and right sides. I was surprised at how close everyone is considering people are scared of Covid. It seemd Covid doesnt really exist at the beach and no one seemed to care. The water was freezing! I was not sure how people were able to swim in it. I had goosebumps on my legs from the water touching my feet. This beach is still a lovely place to visit and relax.

Spent a few days at a rental house less than a mile from Vanderbilt Beach. We went to the beach almost everyday. Cabanas, umbrellas and beach chairs were available for rent by the day. The cabanas were $25 and chairs were $10. These came in handy for our group. Garage parking is available nearby for $8, also for the day. You can come and go as you please. The beach is very clean and well maintained. Trash and recycle bins available everywhere. Plenty of showers. I didn't use the restroom, but heard it wasn't the best. The water is clear and the sand is white. However, on our last couple days at the beach the red algae was really bad. We had so much algae in our bathing suits. They did have a big truck clearing the algae off the beach. Lots of people at the beach but was never too crowded.

We just went to the beach this past weekend and this was the first time going back after hurricane Ian. You can definitely see the remnants of disaster along the drive, but I have to admit the beach itself was in great shape. We parked a block away in the parking garage, they have porta potties right at the entrance due to the facilitates being out of service. The beach seemed very clean of debris and people were getting in the water. It's beautiful! Go and enjoy some sunshine!

We go to this beach 2-3 times a week. Whether you just want to walk in the beach, swim, or fish this is an excellent beach to choose. Raked every morning to smooth the sand and plenty of sea life can be seen at low tide when the water is more clear.

Really nice beach with snow white sand. Not too crowded on a weekend. It's hard to find parking nearby, so come early. Otherwise, it's quite a walk to the beach from the nearby parking garage. Beach beds and umbrella rentals are quite expensive here, so if you are in Naples for a week or so, it's better to go to Walmart and buy beach chairs and an umbrella. That's what we did :)

Beautiful beach to catch the sunset on. If your looking for a beach that's quiet and you can relax at don't come here. A lot of people and very rowdy especially on the weekends. Water is nice and somewhat clear just not a fan of the crowdedness of it as well but if you don't mind that it's beautiful

We were staying in Naples on vacation, and heard a lot about Vanderbilt Beach so gave it a try. At the main entrance everyone seems to plant right down there, and hardly spread out at all. We walked south from the main entrance, and after 100 yards we were in an area all by ourselves. Even better? As we were strolling to our spot a nest of sea turtles hatched and we got to see all the babies run down the sand and into the water! I'm sure it was a once in a lifetime experience, and we will never forget it! I'm so glad we decided to walk down to a less crowded area.

We were in Naples to visit family but since it was almost 80 degrees in December we thought we would enjoy the beach for a little bit. We were told Vanderbilt was one of the best. The parking was pretty easy for being Season time. It was $8 to park on the street about a block from the entrance. They rent chairs and umbrellas right at the entrance and decided to get two chairs ($8 each). The beach was really crowded, especially right near the entrance. I didn't want the guy to have to drag the chairs far so we stayed close to the entrance with little space. The white sand was super soft with some shells near the water. I am pretty spoiled when it comes to beautiful beaches I have been to so was a little disappointed in the water. It was more green than the blue I was expecting and it was ice cold. Yes its December I know, but I was told it was going to be warm lol. It was still a nice enjoyable day in the sun. There is a drop off/pick up area right at the entrance and also a ramp down to the sand. There are a few handicap parking spots right at the entrance, otherwise you can park on the street or the near by parking garage.

    Day at NAPLES Vanderbilt Beach

Vanderbilt Beach is one of many good beaches on Florida's West Coast in NAPLES area. Plenary of public parking in building located about a block away and it's all very clean with amenities such as beach towels, jet ski rentals etc.... There is even a small bar, restaurant and store right at the entrance of branch area. You may ask, why only three stars? It get so packed with people that I would recommend when looking for a good time on the beach with loved ones or family, avoid this one and hit any of the other six or seven beaches in NAPLES, but if large crowded beaches is your thing than Vanderbilt might be for you!

Vanderbilt beach is a great place to visit if you're looking for a white sandy beach. They have $8/day garage parking and you can come and go as often as you want. The parking is also valid for two other beaches (incl Tigertail). The beach isn't very wide so it does get packed on weekends. I recommend walking further down if you want some more privacy or engage in physical distancing. The water is not clear but it is warm. Vanderbilt beach also has showers and restroom available and some beachside restaurants and bars. They also have shops that offer a variety of water sports including jet skiing, banana boat, and parasailing. Basically, everything you might be looking for if you want a fun day at the beach.

Beautiful and convenient beach to go watch the sunset. I'm not too familiar with Naples, but from what our local friends say, this is the spot! There is a super convenient parking garage located just a block away from the beach. There is also a plaza nearby with a liquor store, coffee shop, and a lively bar area. I'm assuming it's legal to walk around here with open containers of drinks cause nobody was being discreet about it. The sand is white and super soft and the beach didn't feel too crowded at all. We were at the beach late afternoon and as we strolled by, there was a mix of folks who've been there all day leaving, and folks coming in to see the sunset. There were folks chugging beer and taking silly photos. There were families and children building sand castles. There was a couple nicely dressed having a picnic with champagne. Overall a great mix of people enjoying the sun and sand. Yelp 100 Challenge 27/100

Beautiful white sand, fast walk to the water, and shallow water for a very long distance into the ocean. Very kid friendly and safe.

The beach, however, was happenin', with lots of people lazing on the beach or in the beautiful water. Despite the amount of people there, we were able to find sea shells, and because of the time of day, there weren't a ton of gulls. The beach stretches out for quite a bit in both directions from the pier, but we went to the right of it to get the best shots of the sunset. Parking here is metered with one of those pay machines where you put in your space number and how long you will be there. It is reasonably priced, and there were a lot of parking spaces.
