I was most impressed by his work at a friend's wedding where he had a slideshow up and running during the reception of the photos he took during the day! He didn't do our engagement photos, but we met up to discuss our suggestions and ideas, and he also provided some input when we shared our concerns about lighting at the ceremony. He captured our moments beautifully, both at the ceremony and reception. We also spent a few hours taking photos with our wedding party at some specific outdoor locations, in which he and his partner followed in their own vehicle. The quality of his photos were great, and he was fun to work with. When we weren't sure how to stage ourselves for a photo, he'd offer some guidance. During our reception, he displayed a slideshow of the moments he captured througout the day, and I thought that was a nice touch. We spoke little to each other throughout the day because I was confident in his ability to photograph all that was going on. His style is appropriate at various times, where he is able to capture the mood during the more ceremonial moments and at dinner time when everyone was more relaxed. He provided us with all the photographs at the end, and a beautiful coffee book that I still look at to remind me of that day. Gives me butterflies every time I look at the photos. One photo that I think illustrates his talent and creativity is where he photographs my wedding shoes by hanging them off my parent's tree in their front yard. My very own shoe tree!. Ask him to show it to you :)

THE BEST! I have…read morebeen to alot of weddings, baby parties, and events in Vancouver that had photobooths and Forever Captured is by far my favorite Photobooth company by experience. I found them online as I was looking to get quotes for my daughters 100 days party. Johnny Jenkins was extremely prompt in all of his responses. I ended up hiring him because of his reasonable pricing. I paid my deposit first to reserve my date, and Johnny helped me make my daughters 100 days party very special. He worked with me to design the perfect photo strip, and we even used my customized logo. The quality of photos that came out were gorgeous and glossy. Everyone at the event enjoyed the photobooth. The booth is very nice looking, and well kept, as well as his props. I've been to some events where the props look beat up, or old/dirty. You will not get this with Forever Captured. They have excellent free add-ons, as well as paid add-ons. Johnny brought an ipad kiosk for my guests to email their photobooth pictures directly. This was a huge plus and upgrade that most parties dont get to see. I also added on the scrapbook option. He provided pens and scrapbook supplies for people to leave us a copy of their photo strip & hand written message. Great company to hire for your special event. Smooth transaction, I highly recommend & will hire again!

Sometimes I worry with photobooths that we have to supplement with our own to make our guests happy, but Forever Captured has some of the coolest props I've seen. Also really liked the kiosk for guests to email their photos and the multiple prints add-on! The best was that the layout can be completely customized by Johnny. There was a brief delay in email response with Johnny during busy wedding season at one point which made me a little anxious, but Johnny delivered exactly as promised! Reasonably-priced service. Thank you!

Beware - Fraudulent Behavior by Paradise Events and Liting Chan…read more I paid a deposit of nearly $23,000 to Paradise Events and Liting Chan for floral décor four years ago. The wedding was canceled due to Covid (the planning service fee of $6000 was paid separately), and no flower décor were ever provided. Her actions are dishonest and unprofessional--avoid doing business with them if you don't want to risk losing your money.

I had been working with David for a long long time because he did my photos for my dessert company…read more He is a very good photographer and is passionate about his job so I would recommend him to people. I've always been very kind and nice to him and have always treated him well, paid him on time, and given him the leftover desserts from the photo shoot to take home. I have hired him many times. However, on a recent visit, he asked me inappropriate, intrusive and probing questions whilst making references to my home and financial status which made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I felt very hurt by these comments and they stayed with me for about a month. I couldn't sleep well for 4 days after he said these things to me. I expressed these feelings to his wife on a few emails a few times and told her that going forward I would be hiring someone else to take care of my photography needs. However, they didn't really care about the fact that they were losing a client because of something that was said to upset me. They seem to be more concerned about their online reputation rather than about keeping me as a client even though I had brought this to their attention. When I told them that I was seeking another photographer, they didn't care because I suppose they have enough clients and don't need my business. Well... if people don't care about how they speak to me or take anything I have said to them seriously even though I have brought it to their notice a few times, then I won't care about what say about them online either

Chris and Gina are very talented, with an impeccable eye for composition, colours and detail. 1. Boudoir Shoot I did this with Gina a few years ago in the Port Moody studio, where there are several different sets/backdrops. She's professional but also very friendly, and quickly put me at ease because... let's be real...boudoir shoots could feel goofy. Gina taught me how to pose so that I wasn't all awkward. The photos turned out amazing - classy and beautiful. I pull them out whenever I need a little confidence boost =) 2. Wedding Photography/Photo Booth We were specifically looking for a photographer with a more modern versus soft/vintage style. We worked with Chris and I cannot say enough good things about him. We LOVE our photos - he captured the day/night perfectly. Our friends and family complimented us on how friendly and professional he was during the event. And when we looked at the proofs, I swear he can teleport. I'm not entirely sure how he was able to capture everything that he did... We chose not to do engagement photos, but took post-wedding pictures around town instead. We went to somewhat touristy/over-photographed places (my request - I wanted very "Vancouver" backdrops) but Chris managed to make our pictures look unique (I'm telling you - he has an amazing eye for composition). 3. Photo Booth We used their photo booth for a reception and it was a great addition to the event. The staff was friendly, their props are fun and they have a sparkly GOLD backdrop! 4. Baby Bump Photos I went back to Gina for my baby bump photos. Once again, we did the pictures in their Port Moody studio but this time I was sporting a giant belly. Again, she put me at ease and helped me pose. The photos turned out amazing! 5. Family Portraits We gifted a family portrait to my parents as a Christmas present. We just took the pictures a few days ago so I haven't seen proofs yet... but the experience was great. We pretty much just showed up and Gina did the rest - figuring out different group photo combinations, bribing my toddler to look at the camera, etc. They even have kid-sized backdrops/sets that are super cute. I'm excited to see the pictures.

At first I was concerned that we spoke our mother tongue language that our videos might be a bit awkward, but they turned our amazing!!! We really love them! The videographers were very professional and able to respond quickly as things fly during our wedding. I'm very glad that the lead videographer connected with me earlier, read the lengthy questionnaire answers, and had a sense of what we want from the videos. Both videographers were able to give suggestions in order to capture some of the clips for our videos, we really appreciate it. The only down side was it took longer than expected to receive our videos. Our wedding was end of June but didn't receive them until late November after I contacted them a few times. Once the director of videography took over, we received our videos right away. Right we are going to discuss editing with them and hope it will be done soon, so we can send the videos out to our friends and family during the holiday! So far, I can only give 4 stars due to the late videos, but once we revive the final product, I will update my review~ Stay tune~
