Do not hire!!!! If you do - ASK for 90 day Warranty - IN WRITING…read more Jaypee installed piping for my washer on March 12 - which is leaking and ruined the ceiling in garage below. He refuses to take responsibility for shitty workmanship and has the audacity to claim I just want him to work for free when I asked him to come back and fix the leaky pipe. He charges $165 an hour (I paid approx. $3000 for 2 days of work) and he still believes he's doing you a favor by saying he's being fair and giving you a deal. But in reality - he has no clue what he's doing. Work he did will now require me to open up walls only a month after it was all closed up. Washer has been hooked up less for than a month (April 26th). His defense - "I checked it before I left and it wasn't leaking". Um - the 5 min you ran the water was not enough for a slow drip to appear behind a closed wall / ceiling. The fact that it's leaking isn't proof enough that you messed up? Seriously- don't fall for his act. Go with a real professional company. Dont hire this one man band that has no professional integrity or ethics to back up his own work.

I used JayPee's last year to run a new gas line to my fireplace. I was initially given a price…read morebefore he saw the job, but after arriving the quote increased by about 50%. We ultimately agreed on a price somewhere in between. He was scheduled to arrive around lunchtime, so I took a half day off work, but he didn't arrive until around dinner. After the gas line was installed, I smelled gas near the meter. His helper initially told me there wasn't a leak, but after checking with soapy water, they confirmed that it was leaking. After the vent-free fireplace was connected, I later discovered another gas leak inside at the connection to the flexible line. When I contacted JayPee and sent him a video of the issue, his first response was "here we go," followed by a series of texts that I found extremely unprofessional. I still have the text conversation and video documenting the issue. He did eventually return and address the leak. However, I was still concerned about the final installation, so I subsequently had two other plumbers look at it. Both raised concerns about the installation, including the type and size of the flexible appliance connector being used through the chimney. Ultimately, I capped the gas line outside, removed the flexible line, and had the chimney repaired rather than paying to have the installation redone. This was my experience, and based on it I would not personally use JayPee's again for gas work. My biggest concerns were the gas leaks, the final installation, and particularly the way my concerns were handled when I contacted him afterward.
