Extremely Disappointed - Unprofessional Owner and Poor Quality Service We recently purchased a vacation home in Yucca Valley and, for convenience, decided to continue using Val Verde Cleaning--the same company the previous owners had used. In hindsight, this was a mistake. The former owners lived out of state, and it's now clear Val Verde took full advantage of their absence, delivering subpar service without any accountability. From the beginning, we encountered multiple issues: dirty Nespresso pods left in the machine, spoon left in the garbage disposal, full trash bins behind the house, and uncleaned spa debris. These are all basic tasks that should be part of any standard turnover clean, yet they were neglected. We gave Maria, the owner, the benefit of the doubt and even communicated our concerns directly. She then insisted we needed a deep cleaning and window washing--despite the fact CSV official partner agreement states a deep clean is needed every 6 to 8 months when approved by the owner when we had only been there for less than 3 weeks and we had just completed a major deep clean ourselves. When we checked the cameras it was apparent that Maria herself had not been to house prior to demanding a deep clean and window washing. When we declined additional, unnecessary services, Maria abruptly dropped us as clients, giving us only one day's notice. After their "final" clean, we visited the home and were disappointed at the state it was left in. Dog hair was everywhere--on the bedding, curtains, couch, and even underneath the sheets. It was clear the bed hadn't been properly stripped or cleaned. We spent hours cleaning up after their so-called "professional" service. Despite ending cleaning services, we reluctantly agreed to continue their spa services since we were new to the area and still figuring things out. Our jacuzzi was having trouble maintaining temperature, and we expressed concern. Maria claimed she would test the spa levels and followed up with photos showing both pH and alkalinity were high. But when we inquired further about dirty headrests and low water levels, her response was dismissive, defensive, and passive-aggressive--telling us to find someone else if we weren't happy. No apology. No professionalism. While some of the cleaning staff were kind and tried their best, the company is only as good as its leadership. Maria's communication style is completely unprofessional and lacking in customer service. As business owners ourselves, we are appalled at the way she handles client concerns. This company may be a fit for absentee owners who don't check in on their property--but if you care about cleanliness, attention to detail, or basic respect as a paying client, look elsewhere. We do not recommend Val Verde and would caution anyone considering them to think twice. Adding an update since I cannot reply to the owners reply. You dropped us because we did not agree to deep cleaning and window cleaning with you, I have the texts. And calling someone difficult to work with because they are holding your company accountable for the basic cleaning standards is a reach. Best of luck. read more

This is the company you want! Needed a deep clean for a house with a 10-year long tenant who just moved out. Planning to sell the property and our realtor recommended Maria at Valverde Cleaning. The house was absolutely filthy. Maria and her team did an incredible job. When they say deep clean, they mean it. All of the air vents were removed and cleaned. Walls and baseboards were scrubbed and prepped for paint. Windows were left sparkling. Outside of house power-washed and garage was swept/dusted. Ten years of grease was scraped off of the countertops. Very thorough work. Maria also made us aware of some maintenance issues that we needed to resolve before selling the house. She even gave us a referral to a great handyman! Maria is professional, reliable, has great communication skills, and does exactly what she promises. I had the worst experience w/this cleaning company who quoted me $1,079 for a deep cleaning. Maria promised to bring 4-6 cleaners to clean the inside of the house, she only had 3 & admitted she was understaffed and that she should have done a walkthrough prior as she said she would. 2 days later when I arrived home, I sent her the long list of what was missed & asked for the job to be completed asap. Instead of owning up to the fact they did NOT do everything on the list outlined in their own contract, Maria: 1. Made false ACCUSATIONS: said there was coke in the house. My hubby uses arrowroot to bake & we use powder toothpaste. 2. Lied: said my hubby told her the house wasn't cleaned in 2yrs. Not true. It had been 2 months. 3. Called the cleaning a "disaster" & blamed us for not doing the job properly because there were 3 people in the house instead of 2, and two of them cooked a meal during the 7hr cleaning. As per Maria's Contract, deep cleaning includes: 1. Dust and disinfect all surfaces inside of home from ceiling (top) to baseboards (bottom), including the walls, doors, knobs, light switches, etc. (*ONLY DID ABOUT 1/3*) 2. Clean inside and outside of all cabinets/cupboards and drawers. (*ONLY DID 1/2*) 3. Clean inside and out of fridge, oven, microwave, and other appliances. (*DID NOT CLEAN UNDER APPLIANCES*) 4. Polish wood and stainless steel. 5. Vacuum under couch cushions, disinfect furniture. (*DID NOT DO*) 6. Detail baseboards in every room. (*DID NOT DO*) 7. Vacuum & mop entire home including under* beds, couches, and behind some easy movable furniture. (*DID NOT DO UNDER + BEHIND anything*) 8. Making beds if cleaning linen is provided by Client. 9. Clean mirrors and glass (shower glass doors, tables, etc.) Clean the restrooms; showers, sink areas, toilet, etc. (*STREAKY*) 10. Detail windows inside and out. (*STREAKY*) After Maria demanded we pay the full $1,079 even though they only did 1/3 of what they promised, we settled on only paying 1/2 of what they quoted. Maria and her team are wonderful at their job. Living in the high desert is can be hard to find a reliable team. I have found a HUGE sense of relief working with her crew over the past year. They have been there for all of my cleanings - even the emergencies. If there's something that is needing extra attention they will go the extra mile. They also offer services to take your trash to the street when it is trash day. When myself or a guest arrives at the home I have never had any negative feedback. Our house was due for a deep cleaning, and we could not be happier with the beautiful job done by Maria and her team. The whole house is noticeably cleaner, with every surface gleaming. Our wood furniture looks amazing. Extra attention was given to the kitchen (wow), bathrooms, and floors. Furniture was moved and vacuumed underneath. We have animals, so there was a fair amount of pet hair along with the inevitable desert dust, but Maria's team cleared it all away.
