I finally switched my policy to USAA (for nearly $100 less per month for the exact same auto coverage and even better coverage for rental) I understand that insurance policy costs are high right now and that does not factor into my review but it did factor into my decision to change. As far as their office goes and where my one star review comes from the office staff is horrible. I have on two occasions asked for a call back from Mark in the office. Once was ignored the second time was a return call 6 days later. Today I was told I could speak with him but not today as he was out of the office. I finally cancelled my auto and renters insurance policy a few days ago over the phone but received no email confirmation which I found weird especially since when I called the automated system asked for my birthdate but the woman in the office never asked my policy number or even confirmed my name. Today, State Farm auto debited my full monthly payment even though I tried to cancel already. When I called the main State Farm line they informed me that they saw my auto canceled but not the renters. The woman in the office who I was connected to told me she didn't know I was canceling that when I specifically said I want everything canceled days earlier. The stars in this review fall even more because instead of her helping further or even listening to my requests, she interrupted numerous times saying, "I don't know why you're upset". Upset is an understatement, had she listened it would have been cancelled properly and I would not have been charged. She also did not ask why I was canceling initially, which while not super important, you would think they would want to keep customer paying high end prices for two college teenagers. Honestly this office is ridiculous and I am glad to have switched and look forward to being completely done with them. If you are looking for a policy I recommend looking elsewhere where it will probably be less expensive for the same coverage and better service.
