My husband commented about Valued Homes on google but never did Yelp. It appears to me a lot of customers are upset, which I completely understand. I have been there. My husband is a better writer than I am. So I copied and pasted what he wrote. I will say this Denise and Sherrie are great! They went that extra mile for us, and I am so thankful for everything they did. I was about to jump off a bridge during this whole process. It was extremely stressful, but so worth it at the end! Here is what my husband wrote.
I will say, it took me a very long time to decide, if I was going to build a home or continue renting. After meeting with Sherrie and her staff, which made me feel very relaxed and knowledgeable about this whole process. I decided to move forward with Valued Homes. Even after, talking with many other builders. I can understand how people can get tired of waiting for their home to be completed. It's a process, not just with the builder but the bank too. As I am looking out doors right now... saying to myself... there is no way, I would want to build a home during the winter months. I was hoping to be in my home before the holidays, just like anyone else. I still had to wait and make other plans, until my home was completed. The weather took a toll on me and my family, along with building my home. It snowed and then came the ice came, and the HIGH heating bills! As I am seating here, reading these other reviews. I would agree it did take a while to finally be in our home, but as we all know. We cannot control mother nature. We love our home! I will still say, I am glad I went with Valued Homes. It was worth the wait! If it wasn't for the delays, which I know it was out of Valued Homes control. I would have given them 5 stars. I guess, that's what we get for living up here in the Capital Region. The weather changes so much, we really can't plan on things. Sherrie and her staff need to keep doing what you do. Their very good at it, maybe that's why Valued Homes has been building homes for many years. read more
