Extremely overpriced for merchandise Received through donation and store smells badly when entering it hits you in the face couldn't make smell go away until I went home and changed. With the money being made by this business I think They can afford some air fresheners or something to make the smell Place better read more

Established in 1954.

The Community Donation Centre the Value Village thrift store in Sydney, Nova Scotia, is the perfect place to donate clothes and other housewares to our local nonprofit partner, Diabetes Canada. Located on Welton between Lorne and Reeves, our secondhand store makes dropping off donations easy. Value Village is committed to giving reusable items a second chance at life while helping save millions of kilos of clothing and household goods from landfills every year. Each time you donate items to Diabetes Canada at our store, we pay them for your stuff, providing revenue to help fund their mission.

I was kicked out bc I have a medical exemption from wearing a mask. She told me she looked it up,…read moreand I was lying, ".. that's not a real thing!" Walked to the middle of the store and announced, "Everyone needs to leave, I'm closing the store bc she refused to wear a mask!! She's the reason we're still in this situation." My husband was wearing a mask. I just cannot. My doctors advise against it for MY HEALTH. I'll be calling her to find out where she gets this information and has the right to embarrass a customer this way. We left. Myself, crying. This is one of my favorite stores, I'm there every week. Noone has said a word to me until today.
