It's one of the more curated thrift chains, so the store feels less chaotic than some competitors while still offering the thrill of unexpected finds. What Talize Does Well - Organization and layout -- Sections are clearly labeled, racks are tidy, and the store is easy to sweep in a single loop. This makes it ideal for fast hunts or full‑store circuits. - Quality of items -- Clothing and home goods tend to be in better condition than typical thrift stores, with fewer damaged or unusable items on the shelves. - Electronics section -- Often smaller than Value Village, but the items that do appear are usually cleaner and tested more consistently. - Pricing consistency -- Prices are more predictable, especially for clothing and household items, which helps budget‑minded shoppers. - Frequent promotions -- Talize often runs color‑tag sales and seasonal discounts that make the hunt even more rewarding. Things to Keep in Mind - Electronics stock varies -- Some days the shelves are full; other days it's almost empty. Great for quick sweeps, but not always for deep hunts. - Higher baseline prices -- Certain categories (like jackets or décor) can be priced higher than expected, depending on brand and condition. - Less "wild chaos" -- If you enjoy the unpredictable madness of Value Village spawns, Talize can feel more curated and less chaotic. Who Talize Is Best For - Shoppers who want clean, organized thrifting without digging through piles. - People looking for quality clothing at reasonable prices. - Hunters who enjoy consistent restocks and predictable pricing. - Anyone doing a multi‑store circuit and wants a reliable mid‑stop between Value Village and Goodwill. Quick, Review‑Ready Summary Talize is a clean, well‑organized thrift store with reliable quality and steady restocks. Prices are consistent, the clothing selection is strong, and the store is easy to sweep quickly. Electronics can be hit‑or‑miss, but when they appear, they're usually in good condition. A great stop for curated thrifting and a solid anchor in any Surrey thrift‑store circuit.

Adidas gym bag, $29.99. The same 6 litre backpack retails at Mountain Warehouse for $19.99 and can be purchased for $9.99 TODAY. Adidas gym bag is a discontinued yoga tote, and dirty enough that it needs expert level deep cleaning to restore to new-ish condition. New packs on the Adidas website can replace this bag with something similar - and I mean cute with multiple pockets and compartments - not just the no frills duffel bags - for $30.00 - $50.00. ZERO incentive to shop here when I can buy clean, unused product for less $$$ than Talize.

I was lucky enough…read morethat the owner Celeste was still in the store after hours and she had let us in to shop while you reorganized inventory. Their main consignment space is for plus size clothing, but they also have a great selection of size 0 to 14 clothes on the second floor as well. Celeste has a great inventory of clothes at a great price. When I was there she had a sale for 50% off all merchandise except for formal wear. The quality of the clothing is mostly good and above but there are some pieces that require some work to be done. Overall this is a great consignment store to shop for clothing. It would be even better if they had longer hours.

I walked in and was immediately asaulted by a very musty stench... the store itself is also very cluttered and disorganized! I smiled at the lady behind the counter and tried saying hello, but she's completely ignored me.. I walked around and browsed a bit and again tried to get the store clerks attention... still nothing... when I was walking out the door I tried to say goodbye and all I got was an eye roll---the lady at the till/front of store said something to another customer about me being in the wrong place anyway because I wouldn't fit any of their clothes (I'm a size 4-5). HOW RUDE.... discrimination is discrimination... I'll never be back!
