This was quite disheartening, especially considering the long-standing history my children have had with this office and their ortho office. All 3 of my children have been patients of this office. While I understand that dental offices can be very busy, especially ones that specialize in pediatric care, I felt that the situation could have been handled better. "Andrea", the person who answered the phone was extremely rude and unwilling to even entertain the idea that her computer could have been wrong (she stated that my child hadn't been seen since 2018, and I know for a fact that she had been cleaning in late 2022 because I sat outside the office. She told me that my daughter would have to find another office as, at 16 - she is considered an adult (?!?!?). Andrea placed me on terminal hold and after what seemed like forever, I finally hung up. She did not attempt to contact me or reach out. Clearly, the level of care in both offices has gone severely downhill as my son has had his braces on since October of 2018. They completely abandoned my son during Covid, and then told him to find an ortho at college, dragging his treatment out for 5 YEARS. (2 years longer than he needed). They refused to see him for cleanings, despite having botched his care (malpractice). His braces are still on!!! Today was the final push I needed to realize that despite my efforts to work with this office and remembering how they were pre- Covid, they are simply not the best place for my children, or anyone else's. Missing records, attempts to abandon patients, zero communication. I hope my feedback will be taken as an opportunity for the clinic to improve its process and care, ensuring a better experience for other families but I do not see it happening.

I explained that I had not been told at the prior appointment that the sealant was not covered by insurance. Because the receptionist was new, another staff member stepped in to assist. I was initially told that insurance companies sometimes list services as covered on their websites when they are not. I was then told the $51 was part of my deductible and that my insurance only covered 80% of the sealant. After receiving multiple explanations, I requested to review the actual paperwork to verify the information being provided. Once the paperwork was printed and reviewed, I was informed that the previous information was incorrect. It was clarified that the office is only permitted to bill my insurance a certain contracted amount, and the sealant was, in fact, covered. Had I not asked to see the documentation, I would have paid a balance that my insurance had already covered. Additionally, I never received a copy of the paperwork I requested. I strongly encourage parents and patients to review their billing statements carefully and request documentation when there are discrepancies. Transparency and accuracy in billing are essential, and patients should not have to advocate this hard to ensure they are being charged correctly.

There's a movie room to keep your children occupied while waiting, or adults waiting for their kids. He does such a great job, when my daughter had 8 cavities (yes, 8, oops), he took care of it swiftly and she had no issues. In the new office, they have a gold coin to give to them where they can pick from several candy ball-like machines as a prize. My daughter literally asked when the next time she can get a cleaning because she wanted another gold coin. Brilliant! Highly recommend!
