They are true professionals and did an absolutely phenomenal job on the house; it looks nicer than anything I could have imagined. They did high quality-work with high-quality materials, and it really shows throughout. Many of my new neighbors commented to me that they had spent time in this house before it was renovated, and they could hardly believe it was the same house. The transaction itself was a piece of cake. Although we were at arm's length and worked through my agent, he was always complimentary about their professionalism and congeniality. They were very patient with us while our lender caused a nice array of problems for us all to work through, but at the end of the day, everything worked out great. One of the things that stood out to me about the purchase experience was the quality of documentation they provided at close. They included invoices and warranty info for nearly everything that had been worked on during their renovations. As little things have come up, I've contacted some of those vendors, and they have been some of the best people I've worked with. For example, there were a couple electrical switches that were behaving strangely since we moved in. I called the electrician who DSH hired to do the work initially, and he was out within a couple days to get things working properly. He wouldn't take my money, saying it was his responsibility to make sure the work was done right. I've since hired him for a bunch more work I wanted to have done. These are contractors who DSH uses regularly and, in some cases, has done business with for years, so they are certainly committed to maintaining their quality standards. As easy as this has been and continues to be, I can emphatically recommend purchasing from Donna Savariego Homes if you have the opportunity!

While I'm not an expert on home renovations, my realtor (who I would also recommend) is knowledgable on these kinds of projects and immediately noticed how thorough and high-quality of a job DSH had done with the place. As I looked around (and especially now that I live here), I could see he was right. They were willing to fix every single [mostly minor] issue we found with the house during the inspection, and even a couple small ones I found after I purchased it, when they had no legal or direct financial obligation to do so. As the selling party, they were also understanding of some temporary issues I was having with my lender at the time of closing. I haven't had much experience with Donna herself, but I have talked with her husband Jeff a good bit both during the purchase process and a few times after as those small issues I mentioned came up. Great guy who takes pride in his work and in puts the buyer first. He even took the time show me around the house just before I moved in as they put on some finishing touches. I highly recommend DSH. It would be interesting to know if the lack of attic ventilation was an oversight, ignorance, or simply cost-cutting. All homes should have some sort of ventilation. And if a builder is installing soffit vents then it is imperative for the builder to make sure ridge vents are installed. There are so many unfinished details that have made owning this 2017 home a headache and costly! If buying from Juanita Couch please don't let her use the house passed inspection as an okay to buy the home. My backyard grading and drainage cost over $2,800. The attic ventilation is going to cost another $1,000+. My cooling bill this summer is costing $120+ to keep my thermostat on 74, which the bedrooms range to 77 and 79 (using Ecobee with sensors). Meaning the home is lacking in the insulation.
