Their scheduling is horrible…read more They use a text message / Whats App only number for scheduling and changing appointments and on more than one occasion my text messages have gone unanswered. Yet, when you are unable to answer them immediately, they cancel your appointment. They called me yesterday, a workday, in the middle of the day and I was unable to answer because I was in a meeting. I could not call them back after work because they close at 4pm (prior to the close of normal business hours). I called them back at 10am this morning, the first break that I could get at work. When I called them back, they notified me that because they had texted me at 8am and I did not respond until 10am, they cancelled my appointment. Keep in mind, I made this appointment 6 months in advance because getting an 8am appointment is virtually impossible and I work from 8am-5om, mid-day appointments are not conducive with my work schedule. And of course, they offered me rescheduling options but could not seem to find me an 8am appt, WHICH IS WHY I MADE MY APPOINTMENT 6 MONTHS IN ADVANCE. Also, I have never been seen at 8am for an 8am appointment, they are barely ready to start business at that time and twice I have arrived before the staff. The Casselberry office is not business professional friendly. The hours are not conducive to patients who work. And to make matters worse, the person who responded to me was rude, as if it was my fault that I needed to be rescheduled and had a specific time of service needed...again, THAT IS WHY I MADE MY APPOINTMENT 6 MONTHS IN ADBVANCE!

I was told by Dr. Muhammad Shahid I would need a root canal w/ crown and 2 porcelain composites, (1 photo xray was done) after actually looking into my teeth, numbing me 3 times in 40 mins, and shaving my teeth down he said he could not do any of that for me beside a crown AFTER I do see this recommended specialist! The DA Leylani was assigned to me to help with my temporary composites until I could get an appointment for an implant at a specialist I was referred to. She was amazing and spent about 3 hours on my temporary teeth, unfortunately she was unsuccessful with satisfaction and my teeth looked horrible. I would have rather used no teeth than to have the crooked, discolored temps they added. Leylani sincerely tried her best to help me but I'm sure she couldn't do her best in such a hostile environment bc when Dr. Muhammad Shahid heard me from the next room over (he opened the window inside the connected rooms disrupting my privacy) he came back into the room where I was being assisted and demanded she stop working on me and I leave because I was crying and so upset about the outcome. I wouldn't recommend a dog to be serviced by Dr. Muhammad Shahid. But the ladies in this office are magnificent, you can tell he's on a power trip and the informal pamphlet in room 6 regarding how "welcoming" and great he is should be burned.

The office acknowledged this and scheduled her with a different provider for June 29. However, when my daughter arrived for her appointment, they assigned her to the same dentist I had filed a complaint against. She even told the staff he was not supposed to treat her. Despite this, he remained involved and administered a numbing injection, which was completely unacceptable and went against my explicit instructions. To make matters worse, my daughter was then left sitting in the waiting room with her mouth numb for over an hour (from 9:25 AM to 10:35 AM) before she was finally treated. Although the manager later apologized and called it a "confusion," this situation shows a serious lack of communication, professionalism, and respect for patient/parent requests. I would not recommend this office based on this experience. Now I'm transferring her somewhere else. I was going to bring my 3-year-old there but not anymore. NO trust in this place. It used to be good i have no idea what has happen over the last 3years.

When i got home and called to question the ad all i got was alot of justification for the price difference with no true justification. I feel this is a very shady way of doing business and would not under any circumstances trust this business. TLDR: you will want to have this place be your dentist…read more Let me start by saying, before Dr. Holz I hated going to the dentist. I did not have the best dental hygiene growing up which has compounded into a mouth that needs a lot of work. Previous dentists I went to made this seem insurmountable and it was too overwhelming and I ultimately would give up every time. Dr. Holz did the opposite of that. In my initial consult with him on 9/20/2021 he also explained that my mouth was in really bad condition, but he took the time to explain how we could systemically approach it and what needed to be taken care of right away and what could wait for the future. He also did not judge me when I shed a few tears over how overwhelming it all was. 1.5 years later, 6 teeth pulled, 4 crowns, 10+ fillings (I was able to not need some over time which was great), 14 visits later I am still as happy as I am that first visit. Every visit to the office is dare I say fun. Everyone at the office works together to take care of you so that you have the best experience. I had some complications from the teeth being pulled that required lots of coordination and the front office stepped in and made sure everything was taken care of so that I could focus on what I needed to. Also Dr. Holz and the different assistants explain every step of the way what they are doing so that I never have to wonder what that weird sound is in my mouth. Also, Dr. Holz is the best at numbing I have ever experienced. The experience is top notch while you are in the chair is also top notch. The massage chairs and televisions with Netflix and disney+ are a wonderful added bonus that help distract you when you have longer treatments. I could continue to go on and on with how much this location has changed my life but I will leave you with this, 1.5 later I've finally moved out of the first phase of treatment and get to begin on the optional parts of my treatment, and I have never enjoyed my smile more. I had paperwork to fill out. I the office provided complimentary drinks in the lobby. After my paperwork work was completed I was able to go to the back to get a full scan of my mouth. It was in 3D with color. I was a bit skeptical because of my experience at sage dental but they said not to worry. After going over some of my goals for my smile I felt so relaxed. The dentist understood everything and answered all of my questions. After that I got to relax and watch my show on Netflix because they had TVs mounted on the ceiling while you get your cleaning done. Now the cleaning was such a peaceful moment. She cleaned my teeth with so much care. There were three flavors of toothpaste for the cleaning. I got to try the cinnamon and one other. I really enjoyed the cinnamon but decided to stick with the other that I cannot recall. I even got walked out and was gifted a tumbler too. I absolutely love my new dental office.

But in all honesty, stay away from Richard Rodgers, you will regret it.
