Honestly we stopped by this one just to try and they paid us $5 per Xbox 1 game, my husband sold 20 of them and got the $100 to buy his new 2K20 game. They always give you top dollar, know what what they're talking about and have great customer service. Look if you are needing to pawn something, because shid you need the cash, don't be a prick and then get mad when you can't screw them out of money. They provide a service and it has limitations. I see too many people trying to trade in a 5 year old TV for the market price of today's TVs, how are they suppose to make a living and your TV isn't the newest one anymore. Best pawn shop ever. At least the location I go to on hwy 6 near 529. Very nice people there, super friendly, been going in there for a long time. My FIrst time pawing anything here and I will never do it again. GHETTO employees who probably didn't even finish grade school. Absolutely no customer service, RUDE , and they act like they are doing people a favor. Hey employees! If it weren't for customers you'd have no jobs! They sold my property before I paid for it because they weren't smart enough to give CORRECT information. These people are the most incompetent people I've ever seen. I spoke to 3 different people In the SAME day and everyone one of them had a different story. One of them didn't even speak English, the other put me on hold every time she couldn't answer my question, and finally the guy was so rude and kept talking over me. I only went there because I knew someone who used to work there and I should've known better since I knew plenty of the scams they do. Don't ever buy or pawn here. Their things are broken, fake, and if you pawn anything real, they'll screw you over and sell before you can get it back!! This place is a complete scam with the people they have working there. We came here for tools the same day I had a medical procedure. I told the kid that it was the last of our money I was using to make Christmas gifts bc I'm sick, broke and can't work. He cut me a deal and I was intending to use them from now on bc of "the deal" he was cutting us. $50 for two items. One a brad nailer which he sold me for $20. It is(come to find out)at harbor freight BRAND NEW for $25. Also, a compressor. I couldn't use them both the day I purchased them and no one told me if they don't work to come back the same day. So....I'm stuck with two broken items and no money left to help make gifts for Christmas. Wow!! They must really care for their customers...I even had on a hospital band still. Sad, very sad. I don't know what to do now. There was no way for me to use them the same day, I just left the hospital and when I went in it was the only time I had to shop for these items. This Pawn shop has the most knowledgeable and fast service in Houston from the shops that I've been too. You get top dollar for your stuff wether you are pawning or selling. I just went on a rant about Ashford Pawn on Westheimer. Where did I go after leaving there with 15 games, most of which new big releases? Valu Plus Pawn. After being treated like a crackhead or a thief and getting low balled on Westheimer for ALL 15 games for $40 when I simply asked for $50, Valu Plus Pawn gave me $75 for 7 games. Plus the guy the young lady called over looked at my history and probably saw I've never not picked up my items. He told me I had not been there since Sep 2016. I went in there and asked for more than I needed and got exactly what I asked for and for less. These guys have always had great customer service and have always given me exactly what I asked for. I asked for more than I needed because that shady Ashford Pawn had me trained like that so when they give me the "all I can give you is this" low ball speech it will actually be what I need. I had not been to a pawn shop in a couple years and I forgot why I started making the longer drive. I hope I won't need a pawns shop again but if I do I know where to go.
