PSA: DO NOT USE STATE FARM and/or ROB RUDAKAS Agency 835…read moreLincolnway, Valparaiso IN 46383 For the last 15 years I have been charged car insurance premiums for my deceased father-in-law whom WE never added to our cars EVER. He never lived with us, moved to AZ 16 years ago and has been deceased for 11 years (AND the State Farm computer system showed he was DECEASED but kept charging me anyway)! This all started for me at the end of July when I just happened to look at the pages they send quarterly to tell you about your policies and on the back of the third page I noticed my deceased father-in-law listed as a driver! I went into the agency whom we have been with for over 20 years to find out what was going on. She showed me the screen that even showed they knew he was deceased. I had them remove him and asked how long I had been paying for him. She did not know. Tried to blame it on new computer software. Passed the issue off to a corporate person for a "Deep dive." After 2 1/2 months of no resolution and now she was not returning my calls I made an appointment with the local owner Rob Rudakas. First appointment he was not there another computer error. When we finally sat down with him he stated things like this have been going on with State Farm customers and it has been a problem. Well everyone should know this! He then stated they closed that inquiry and had credited me a couple hundred dollars. They didn't note a thing on my bill and didn't tell me it was closed. I was pissed. The owner then opened another inquiry now 3 months in. I received 2 checks in the mail that only equaled about $1200 and I was told by my agent they could only go back 6 years. Well by my calculations 6 years of back pay was about $3600 so they still owed me $2400 for those 6 years. My agent at this point sent me an email I would have to open another inquiry for the remaining 9 years. Seems he was done trying to fix the problem State Farm caused. I opened my 3rd inquiry and mentioned I did not receive the correct amount back for the 6 years they already looked into. They would check on both. 2 days later a call from them that they owe us nothing else and can only go back the 6 years. I was told it was our fault for not removing him during renewals. First of all we didn't add him, didn't know he was on our policies and our renewal is automatic. I hadn't personally seen my agent in at least 15 years. If it was our fault they would never have given us any money back. I asked why would they not give the money back for the 11 years he was dead and they knew he was dead and again it was our fault for not removing a man we didn't know was on our policies. DO NOT USE STATE FARM OR ROB RUDAKAS. I have cancelled my policies and changed my life insurance to another agent so Rob never gets another dime from me. I urge anyone with this agent to do the same and check your policies often since they can add dead people without your knowledge. Please keep reposting.
