Low and behold, I received another text message...still no call back. I called a third time and an agent (not Christy) answered and said I was just about to call you. I told her I needed to speak with Christy, to which she stated Cristy was working from home. I asked her to please have Christy contact me to discuss other insurance companies. Never heard from her! Called again a few days later only to be connected to the same agent I spoke to days before. After a lengthy conversation, I did receive a call from Scott. They have relatively low rates and include competitive car rates with homeowner's policies. They also will insure second vacation homes which is hard to find. I have had 3 payouts, 2 were on auto and they waived my deductible on both because we have pretty good records (probably until the 2 claims this year). They paid a bogus large claim to someone who claimed my dog had bitten them. She did not, according to all witnesses, he ran into her (the dog) and other people while running on a crowded sidewalk and he fell and cut his leg. However, my complaint is that they paid a claim they shouldn't have paid, I guess if an insurance company has to have a fault, that's not a bad one.

My experience was disappointing because of how unprofessional the office atmosphere felt…read more While I was there, I could clearly hear a staff member, Angelica, having what sounded like a work-related conversation with a coworker over the phone. The conversation was loud enough for customers to hear, and the way she spoke to the other employee came across as reprimanding, disrespectful, and unnecessarily harsh. It made the entire office uncomfortable. It seemed like the rest of the staff was trying to carry on as if nothing was happening, but it was difficult to ignore. As a customer, I don't expect to witness internal workplace conflicts while I'm conducting business. It gave me little confidence in the professionalism of the office, especially knowing customers were being exposed to conversations that should have been handled privately. I work in customer service myself, and I understand that difficult situations happen. However, there's a professional way to address coworkers, regardless of the circumstances. The interaction I overheard came across as mean-spirited and inappropriate for a workplace, especially in front of customers. Ironically, the rest of the staff was wonderful. They were friendly, professional, and made the experience much better despite the uncomfortable atmosphere. They deserve recognition for maintaining their composure. I also want to be fair and say this company has otherwise provided good service for me in the past, which is why this experience was so surprising.
