Not sure how long Agent…read moreScott Angel has been in business but when asking a question regarding fire claims, he stated this is his first time dealing with a fire claim. This was also our family's first time experiencing a fire. However, the adjusters inability to explain the process appropriately/thoroughly caused additional questions to arise. Since Scott Angel was originally our agent, we'd resort to asking him & staff questions except that became an uncomfortable exchange when staff's body language appeared as though he & they were BOTHERED, ANNOYED, STAND OFF-ISH. We wanted nothing more than to be placed with a team oriented, PROFESSIONAL, RESPECTFUL, & ETHICAL fire claims adjuster. AFTER MONTHS OF MULTIPLE ATTEMPTS/REQUESTS & verbal complaints, it took: 1. Three total months AFTER the claim had begun/loss of time 2. Loss in monetary benefits, 3. Reporting to State Farm corporate office in order for something to finally be done regarding the issue. We then realized, we needed these exact characteristics from an insurance agent as well. Therefore, MARLENE MOORE is our new agent and we have since received a new fire claims adjuster. Since removing Scott Angel & team, the process has been easy breezy lemon squeezy. KNOW YOUR RIGHTS & OPTIONS! Do not get stuck with shotty service. Good luck
