I had to explain that a Groupon when I needed a refund because I made they were not there. I had to make the appointment by email. I showed up and the door was locked. I called and emailed with no answer. There was no vm set up. They told Groupon they were open but also didn't call me back. I think it's a new business but think twice about doing the Groupon. It would have helped if the website had better directions to the building entrance.

I have had too many facials to count in so many locations, some quite expensive and some in chains like Elizabeth Grady and or Catherine Hinds. I have to admit, Adina is the best. She is a perfectionist. I HATE going to a salon where I am going to get someone who is inexperienced, who puts cream on my face, rubs it to soft music, and essentially I go home. Adina uses a meticulous process. I have tricky skin because I am older, yet I still break out. I enjoyed the mask, the exfoliation, the extractions, the steam, the collagen mask, with googles, and warming light. and.. unexpected foot massage!! It was actually heaven. Plus- A Groupon. Yes, I do believe in Angels. You will not be disappointed with Adina if you can get an appointment. She is also a kind, smart woman. :)

Before my appointment started, I asked a gentleman at the salon how much Gel-X cost, and he told me it would be $55. The technician who did my nails barely communicated with me throughout the service. The only questions she asked were what shape and color I wanted. I also told her that the nails were too long, but she didn't seem to care and continued without making any adjustments. When it came time to choose a color, I asked how many coats she normally applies, and she told me one. However, she ended up applying at least three coats. Once she finished, I told her that I didn't like the color and was unhappy with how long the nails were. Instead of trying to resolve the issue, she told me the nails were already dry and that I would have to start over if I wanted a different color. I asked if she could simply remove the color, but she refused and said she had another client coming in that has an appointment. Things got even worse when it was time to pay. The total came to $62.52, even though I had been quoted $55. When I questioned the price, she turned the screen toward me and pointed out an extra charge for "long length" nails. I never asked for long nails--in fact, I specifically mentioned that they were too long. Charging me extra for something I didn't request is unacceptable. Maybe there was a language barrier that caused a miscommunication between the gentleman who assisted me to the technician. I also noticed a $1.52 tax charge. Since New Hampshire does not have a general sales tax on nail services I was confused about why I was being charged tax. I paid in cash, so there shouldn't have been any card processing fees either. It didn't occur to me until the next day, but now I can't help but wonder how many other customers have been charged tax/fees without noticing. Between the poor communication, lack of concern for customer satisfaction, unexpected charges, and disappointing results, this was one of the worst salon experiences I've had. I will never return and would not recommend this salon to anyone.
